Did you try video chat like msn video chat? as I dont really need home internet if this tethering works as I have new iPhone4 with 6GB data. Will this be enough for watching 10 movies, and 20 hours video chat in one month.

that said, id rather pay the 130 dollars extra to have 3G. once you have that option they can't take it away. just have to be patient for AT&T to get a clue and bring back their unlimited data

AT&T will never bring back unlimited because it makes them less money. Besides, for droid users, why run 2 data plans when you never use you phone one up anyways

that's just one more thing to carry around.... and it's gonna drain both batteries. I thought about doing that, but having to have my cellphone on and with me at all times draining the battery wasnt my taste. so i got the 3G model. besides it costs like $30 a month extra to make my phone a Mi-Fi device

windows mobile can also do this with a an app called "WifiRouter" , it does exactly the same thing.

Just use a Moto Droid and you don't have to hack or anything it's just a free app.

I am going to use Nokia E72 (AT&T) + joikuspot for tethering it's easier to do, no need to root or jailbreak the phone, risking turning the phone into a brick.

@themegamactv thanks. i dont think its from the android market place. You can look for that app(.ipk file) online. Usually you get that app after you rooted and installed custom rom your android device.
