This makes it difficult to keep running this train. It's interesting, that compared to Europe, the passenger transportation in North America is only for a few tourists and some other people. To ride a train ist a good experience to meet other folk and to discover a country.
I hope the Northlander will go on. I was riding this train several years ago from Toronto to Gravenhurst. It was a nice trip with, for european standards, a lot of space for the passengers.

i see the northlander almost everyday in porquis, its fun to look at but its empty inside...

With all the traction motors going on the GP38's we are not sure how long the northlander will last
