  • damn too much talking...you should have been a poem writer.

  • very good lesson

this is going to be a lot of fun song to play around with too. ive never been a stickler for playing it exactly as it is on the original record (after all, he doesnt!!)

  • Is that an american standard strat? If so, i got exactly the same :D

  • Yes. It's a 2006 model I won on ebay about a year ago.

  • You have the riff in the middle nearly correct but are putting in a few extra notes compared to the original (Hey I can fully appreciate that this might be your own interpretation though so please don't think I am being cheeky!!).

The C and the B notes on the 6th string are both syncopated. I have just sat and transcribed the whole song on Sibelius notation for my guitar students .... took me hours!!!

Thanks - and nice sound by the way!

  • love that gutair.. man... its a beauty.

  • yea thanks ur the only one who teaches the whole song and not the solo =D

  • Leslie rotating speaker on the original track, as well as in his backline in his current stage set up.

  • thank you very much for the lesson it really helped me alot!

  • I think it is some kind of phaser/flanger.

  • it's a real full sized Leslie on the original recording. If you listen to the studio tracks on "Goodbye Cream" which is where Badge is from, you will hear the Leslie used in many of the songs. Harrison, Hendrix, and The Band also used this effect, all three of those were big influences on EC.

  • @fretmelt1 recently he uses chorus

  • Thanks for the vid, on the cream version what effect does ec use for the riff

  • Thanks for the lesson. Great song.
