-AC still follow the storyline in AA

-It easier to travels to places

-The combat is bigger than AC

-Every villain is in AC (expect for scarecrow) and they some new villain as well

-The gadgets are back (expect for the ultra batclaw) but this time upgrade with some new additional gadgets

-The soundtrack is still awesome

I love Arkham asylum it's an amazing game, but I would have too say Arkham city is a fair bit better, pretty much same type of game. but graphics have improved a fair bit. game play is a lot more smooth, and as a whole seems a lot more interesting so far. But both are excellent games after all.

@RelativeBadger In games, movies, and comics, enemies attack one at a time to avoid hitting each other. If you hate this aspect of the game, then you'd also hate it on every other movie. Also, they're not just standing around, they're looking for the perfect time to attack; everybody rushing in to attack isn't always smart. In games like God of War or Devil May Cry, enemies pile up on you. In a game like Arkham Asylum, it's more methodical combat, kinda like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear.

@TimmahUK In addition, the person playing this video is completely neglecting to use any of his takedown moves when enemies are knocked to the ground, use the evasion move to maneuver around enemies and disorient them, and use his cape to temporarily daze enemies. This aside the gameplay also has areas where you will have to sneak up on armed enemies instead of just meleeing them. You can take them out from corners and ledges, pull them into pits, jump on them from above, leave then hanging, etc
