  • @MatcelloTomas928 Answer: it'll be replaced by 8335-8394 otherwise movement is possible. The Vs are getting replaced soon.

  • i wish they still had buses with these engines, cuz now all they have are those modern crappy orion vii hybrids

  • me encanta el sonido de esta omnibus

  • I hope these 96s are going to be around for long time. Im not happy that 91s are retiring.

  • Finally, another fleet other than MTA Long Island Bus that has this Orion V CNG with this particular engine/tranny combo!!

  • This sounds like an L10G/B400R not a L10G/ZF like LIB has. very close though.

  • These busses use to have ZF transmissions when they first came into service.

  • anyone notices all the radeling this bus makes

  • and i did not even know its raining!

  • your right i do see a rainbow in the corner of the windsheild

  • Love the Engine on this bus!

  • Anybody notices the rainbow?

  • No seriously, after the bus makes the left turn at the start of the video you can see it at the top left corner of your screen.

  • Seriously, I would have preferred the Voith DIWA D863.3 as a replacement for the ZF Ecomat, because of its distinctive retarder whistle and deep 1st gear.

  • The 96 V CNGs never came with any ZF transmission. They came with Allison B400R.

  • I know. I was referring to the 1990-91 models, not this and other '96's.

  • Isnt there a different engine on this bus, cause it sounds like the 1990-1992

  • It should be noted that as of September 2007, the exclusive right turn lane at York Boulevard was eliminated, and integrated onto Keele.

  • I fell in love with this bus engine. Seriously.

    From your friend, vivablue5215.

  • Same exact BS we got on Long Island Bus...but younger (1996-1998)

The 1995 O5 CNGs have the same engine, but with a ZF Ecomat transmission. Those are cooler :)

  • Our 1991 Diesels used to have the Ecomat - then problems arose and they 'upgraded' to the Allison B400R ;-)

  • The 1991s should have had the Voith D863.3 instead of the Allison as a replacement transmission.

  • eeek buses >.<
