i have the ai flight that i have made installed but whenever i open a free flight it closes fsx after it finishes loading the flight..What am i doing wrong??????
Hey, great video. I've got quite a bit of experience with the flight planner already, but I'm trying to setup some local military AI traffic that do a lot of pattern work (touch and goes). I'm not entirely sure exactly how to get the aircraft to do touch and goes at only one airport. The way I have them set up now, they'll do one touch and go, then about a mile or two past the departure end they call up the tower requesting to full stop. I want them to do numerous TNGs and then full stop.

I tried a few more options but the aircraft still remains parked and never moves. With other settings it will not appear. I am sure it is some very simple technical setting that I didn't apply. Can you possibly suggest or attach a bgl file I can use as a test? Thanks again for your time and assistance.

@EasyTravelGuide This is usually because the time you have set for departure is one hour off. This is always a tricky situation because sometimes the timezones and time differences can be confusing. I would recommend changing the departure time one hour earlier, and if that doesn't work, try one hour later. Also, make sure that your destination airport is able to handle AI traffic (see if any default traffic goes there with 100% density). Let me know if you need more help :)

@EasyTravelGuide A newer version of the software is out, and you can watch those videos if it is an issue with the software, yet it seems like what you need to do, it run the software as administrator (if you have the option) and then browse to your FSX/Sim Objects/airplanes folder when the document folder opens. Also be sure you have the right version of FS selected in all areas. Let me know if this fixes the problem. If it doesn't I'll do my best to help you out :)
ok. heres my thing. i made a custom airport(CYYJ, i just took tht and used airport design ed.) and i have world of AI, and i want for us airways, delta, continental, southwest and american to fly there (cause they dont now). first i got aisort, and it kept crashing, so i got this and gave it a whirl and when i click for FSX i get an error message it says "acess to the path 'C:\programdata\microsoft\fp installer\1.0.0.0' is denied". im using windows 7 if that helps. anyone who knows HELP!!! thnx
@8justin88 running the software as administrator solved the problem for me. as far as how to use the editor, I guess I have to re-learn it due to the update. Good luck and I will try and get a video up soon concerning the latest version.

Anyways, are you asking if you can add files using AIFP? If that is your question, then yes, you should be able to open and edit flight plan files using this software. @fsxlover07 Try running AIFP as administrator, also, try checking the "All FSX" bubble on the "create new aircraft list" instead of selecting the "select" bubble. If the "All FSX" bubble doesn't work, pick "select" then check the box next to sim objects in your FSX folder.

i set the time frame for under 24 hours. and the starting time is 00:00. do i have to start at the time of day at 00:00 or should the aircraft start about the time i do?

Anyways, the aircraft should be sitting in its spot if you spawn in at a time before it leaves, but if you spawn in after it was set to leave, then it will already be gone or even at the destination airport depending what time you spawn in. Yet if you come in at 00:00, then you should see it in spot and ultimately you should see it taxi out and depart.
for some reason i keep seeing duplicates of my new ai traffic in my FSX. Im using boris repaints to repaint some of my NWA WOAI planes. i used this ai flight planner to assign the planes some flightplans. those planes were A330-300's and 200's. assigning the flight plans was easy thanks to your easy tutorial and making the textures was easy too....but for some reason after i put the .bgls in the scenery folder and i go on to fsx, i see for ex 6 different N814nw or 20 N705DN. please help....
@razordash4 As I said for ATGEC, I apologize for the delayed response, I have been quite busy. The problem you are describing is unusual. I am not sure what could cause so many planes to be duplicated. Make sure that each time you create a new flight plan you set the aircraft names to something else, also, try creating a plan with the default planes and see if the problem persists, let me know what happens, and we can go from there.
@charlyramm1 It should work, just select the plane in the list like for any other new flight plan and you should be good to go. websites like ai-aardvark(dot )com are good for just AI planes that you can make flight plans for.
