I recently rediscovered this video and I gotta say I LOVE it! This really is a style I want to do and you are really smooth and confident. It flows well and is sexy!
i've tried the lil mynx. it's attachment at the top wears out after a couple of months of swinging my bum around on it. i think lil mynx is great for girls that weigh less than 140lbs. i, however, weigh about 155 and fluctuate through out the year about 20lbs. The best really seems to be a mounted brass pole.
ps the pole in this video is a platinum stage pole. xpole sent me a pole to try out (free of charge) to see if i like 'em enough to endorse and sell in our studios.... but their pole didn't fit my likening either. bummer! right! can anyone produce something for regular girls that's not just for super skinny club dancers???? grrrr!
Well that sucks.Mine is really creaky I thought it was just a thing. Oh well I guess I'll pillow my floor for when my normal 152lb butt hits the floor.
Ps your body waves are divine. Did you take Belly dancing?
i have a platinum stage pole and it's wonderful quality at a great price. i have also personally owned lil minx and have extensive experience with x poles. so i would have to disagree with the previous comments. you may not have it properly installed?
you are correct about Platinum Poles having a bad wobble factor to them. It makes it hard for me to really do the tricks I can do on it...in fear that the whole damn stage, me, and pole will fall over. Other then that...you're very graceful like myself...I can tell you're very experienced.
Sounding like a hardcore loser here, but I had my cousin (a tradeperson) make me a "portable stage" because I myself wasn't liking the fact that I was afraid it was all going to topple over-works really well, and a helluva lot cheaper! (I wish I'd have done that first...)
Really smooth transitions from one move to the next, also some unexpected changes in direction; very effective for keeping the audience's attention from start to finish.

My bad Pusifer Queen B. and Trucifer please get a Lil Mynx. The stainless steel version is similar to the brass ones used in studios.
