I really like the movie. Of course, it's not like the anime, which isn't even like the manga itself in some ways. So it gains new feeling again, and it's interesting to watch.

This movie IS different from the anime, and I can see why people would be disappointed in that fact, but it's more important to distance yourself from one version of the story rather than griping about every little detail. You'll actually get enjoyment from it that way. And, actually, this movie isn't bad.

I like that they didn't pick all perfect-looking people for the cast, like some movies do. It's more believable. Ginko has a little pimple or a mole or something on this chin ^_^

Did anyone else catch on to the fact that Maho when showing Ginko his mother's horn said "I can't touch them" and then what did he do straight away? Aww look at that he touched them, looks like you can after all >.<

They got it wrong....When the mother said "Can you hear mama's sound?" She was talking about if you put yours WRISTS to your ears you can hear your blood moving through your veins. If you pay attention to the Anime, you would understand it better.

@kristen221 No, it's the hands in the anime. You hear the sound of the muscles in your wrists moving that makes the sound.

i agree. Everyone here is being really picky.

The movie is RARELY like it's cartoon show or book. Lots of things get lost in translation due to time and money and sometimes lack of the creator being on the set.

It happens everywhere. So why everyone's complaining about it here makes no sense. Just stop. The movie's going to be different regardless. Treat it like a different entity or you'll end up VERY disappointed all the time.

@ReadingAnimeDreamer i can agree with that. but thats what I'm saying. Thats the case with almost every movie put out. so the complaining doesn't do much cause it's not gonna retract the movie. It'll make it less publicly shown..but the damage was already done y'know? so might as well enjoy or leave it. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying when it comes to cases like this, never expect much of anything out of the movie. Not unless the creator is going to be on set or something.
