  • I DARE someone to transpose this piece so the mellow intro section is in the key of D instead of G - in other words, four sharps for clarinets and five for alto saxes!

  • Actually, two of us are all-state oboes. You wouldn't want to shoot us. And we usually have 2 bands, but this year we stayed just one so we had to work with what we had.
