Now that the rock throwing party is over in Greece, and the Jews (IMF/EU) have put bridles on their new pack mules in Greece, we can move on to Italy. The Irish being used to priest butt fucking them all their lives just rolled over and took the Jew dicks like good little Catholics. Hopefully, the Catholics in Italy will do the same.
Didn't JP Morgan-Chase sell toxic derivatives and when that market imploded, foreclosed on millions of homeowners after taking their money twice: not just regular payments which, of course, became so exorbitant that nobody could pay, especially after losing their jobs, and then un-employment was shut down by Republicans, so JP Morgan collects the insurance on the foreclosed home and then keeps it vacant to keep it at a hyper-inflated price to use as collateral. Them be dishonest???!!! LOL
@Christophilus1988 I have a question. I recently purchased more gold. I was told that THIS gold, CANNOT be "seized." I have trouble believing ANYTHING that "cannot" be seised by the Feds? Is this true? Is there "non-seizable" gold? And IF SO, what is it called?
The free market supply & demand system of economics is by far and away the most just economic system. This is exactly why it is being attacked and destroyed by the evildoers. The supply and demand free market system is self regulating...that is until you remove the consumer protection regulations and allow the wolves to feed freely on the Masses via inflation. These 'nice' people suggest to me that: Why yes, we plundered the people of earth and by gosh we're gonna keep those ill gotten gains".
@christophercredit I found Wittgenstein very helpful in understanding this. His use of the term, "Language Games", (the made-up/ assumed/ accepted rules governing logic). As a Metalanguage to Logic, hence Math Physics, Chemistry, and down through Biology. Free Market Capitalism is a game within a game. We can't clearly see the bigger game. We are the chumps in their game. This applies to all alledged systems, religious, political, economic, etc. Essentially, only suckers play by rules.
@itsanameisntit Agreed. For some time I have noticed that the entire system (economic) is a scam. A true free market supply & demand capitalist system can only work if people are honest about certain facts. For example, if everyone was adhering to the precepts of 'The Golden Rule' (do to others as you would have done to you) we wouldn't need consumer protection regulations; but we know the reality. Now we protect only the thieves. We cannot allow essentials (food, housing, etc.)to be manipulated
@christophercredit I agree completely and I think that was the original political message of Christianity. However, I believe that this world is moving towards a lower and lower frequency if you like, or resonance. Even buying gold seems to be a scam. Fake gold & silver, especially bonds seems to be more common than real. People are buying Kilos of Molybdenum thinking it's silver, or else gold plated Tungsten. Good luck
Damon Vrabel implies that he wants a republic that will enforce usury laws. I would call that aggression. People should be free to exchange whatever commodity now for whatever amount of commodity in the future. The problem is the government enforced banking cartel. To get rid of this kind of cartel protection you need to get rid of government altogether. Check out the MISES website or FREEDOMAIN RADIO website...
@alalelalex - @alalelalex - I understand the appeal of Austrian theory and the voluntarist proposition. problem is that they're false. they don't fit with history. the only thing that kept the mega Brit banks like JPM from raping all of us faster was the constitution, but now that they've successfully driven govts to bankruptcy, our future is grim. also if you think JPM having total free reign vs. a local bank that you open with your own currency is a "free market," good luck with that.
Historically the state and the banks colluded together to form a cartel that has a monopoly on money creation. The state wants to borrow more money than it can on the market, so it offers banks the privilege of protection against bank runs. This way banks can start implementing fractional reserve banking, and print more paper currency than there is gold in the vault. A piece of paper like the constitution or a vote mean nothing if they cannot be enforced by the free market.
I agree with Vrabel, government is the answer - real and representative government.
The only hope we have is if enough politicians wake up in time and realise what is going on and call a halt. For now they all seem to be in thrall to the Doges of international finance.
The guest is right on for the most part but he makes a mistake claiming more government can fix government problems. He says Schiff is wrong but all we had to do was let the banks fail and they would have been done. The government isn't needed to break them up, they are the only thing holding them together with QE and mark to myth. If you give government any power, even for supposed "good" causes, eventually it will be corrupted.
I totally agree with all. However i also follow the cospiration from other angles. Some guys still talk about reptilian eyes. I totally agree also with this philosopher but take a look at point 22:46 to 22:48. Any of you guys understand what happend broadbanding or filming that can explain those eyes? Seems the cospiracy got everywhere and now bad people turned good.
@punjabisikhwarrior That's just disgusting... how did that happen? Is that a glitch, or did someone doctor the footage so there is what looks like a forked tongue? I did not notice that till you made me look. Man you are really watching these video's a little too closely. Step back a bit. ;)
EVEN THIS MAX KEISER GUY THINKS GOLD IS GOING TO SAVE HIM HA HA WRONG. I HEAR ALL THESE ECONOMIST GUYS SAYING BUY GOLD, YEAH BUY GOLD HA HA HA THERE GOING TO IN FOR A BIG SURPRISE WITH THE DOLLAR AND THE EURO FALLS; WATCH.
RIGHT NOW YOU USE CASH BUT WHEN THE DOLLAR FALLS THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO PULL OUT THAT FAKE GOLD AND YOU WILL FIND OUT ITS NOT REAL GOLD. PROBEBLY METAL BASED. WITH GOLD COVERING.
ON MAX KEISERS PRESSTVGLOBALNEWS CHANNEL HERE ON YOUTUBE HE INTERVIEWD A MAN NAMED DAVID DEGRAW. AND HE SAID THAT THERE ISNT THAT MUCH GOLD ON THE PLANET AND ITS ALREADY BEEN BOUGHT UP. THAT MEANS LIKE A SAID BEFORE THE GOLD THEY SELL ON TV IS JUST CRAP. AND WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO US IT TO BUY SOMTHING THEN THEY WILL FIND OUT AND WHO ARE PEOPLE GOING TO GO TO TO TELL THAT THERE GOLD IS FAKE. THERE IS NO ONE TO GO TO AND THATS WHY THEY SELL FAKE GOLD.
THINK PEOPLE, EVERY THING ON WALL STREET IS CORRUPTED, MANIPULATED, AND A LIE. BUT GOLD IS NOT TOUCHED AND IS THE SAVIOUR ARE YOU SERIOUS THAT DOESNT EVEN SOUND LOGICAL.
ITS ALL A LIE LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE ON WALL STREET AND THE GOLD MARKET HAS ALREADY IN THE 70s ALL THE GOLD ON THE PLANET WAS BOUGHT UP TO BACK UP THE BILLIONS AND TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR THE POWERFUL NATIONS ON THE GLOBE.
WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THAT GOLD IS GOING TO SAVE THEM. THE CRIMINAL BANKERS HAVE REACHED EVERY AREA OF WEALTH AND MUNIPULATED IT FOR THEMSELVES; BUT THEY HAVENT TOUCHED GOLD. YEAH RIGHT, YOU PEOPLE KEEP THINKING THAT. THERE'S NOT EVEN ENOUGH GOLD FOR EVERYBODY ON THE PLANET AND THEY LIE ABOUT THE AMOUNT THAT DOES EXIST; ITS VERY LITTLE AND ITS ALL BOUGHT UP BY ALL THE BILLIONAIRES ON THE GLOBE TO BACK UP THERE CASH. THINK PEOPLE THINK
This guy starts to sound good, but then starts trashing Peter Schiff and misrepresenting Peter Schiff's ideas. He is either lying or doesn't know what he's talking about. Peter doesn't want to eliminate government! He's running for U.S. Senate! He is a Ron Paul supporter and Tea Party candidate who wants to take the government back for the people. He believes in sound, honest money and economics and limited, Constitutional government -- just what we need to save this country.
WOW ... this guy is like the prophet of profiteering. His realm of knowledge seems amazing and his views very clear. Reading his background affirms everything. Have this guy back soon and let's get some funds for him in order to go around the country to mobilize America's thinking!!! Max, keep up the amazing work.
How is it possible for a country to lend another money if they have different currencies ? If countries are lending money on computer screens and its all digital then who is entering the transactions, which bank do these countries belong to ? and why do countries borrow money if money is backed by nothing and all governments are printing money in their currency.
@lexpie It's all about Ethics indeed. Watch Ian Xel Lungold on The Mayan Calendar Comes North. 3 hour documentary, spiritual... but you'll understand the true meaning of the shift from Power to Ethics.
P.S. You'll also understand why 2012 is not the end of the world, even though nwo-scum with their order out of chaos tactics want to make us believe that.
General Motors is 70% owned by the Federal Government. They lost $3.5 billion in Q1 of 2010 but paid off their debt to the government by getting another loan from the government. General Motors is finished because they can't make it without huge permanent government money input. Would you buy a GM product? Do you trust their future? What happens to GM when the Federal Government becomes insolvent ie the dollar dies?
The collapse of the US$ will see the US$ still used in the USA but nowhere else in the world. This will result in all US military bases being closed worldwide because no country will take US$ for supplies to keep the bases running. The price of gas will be too high for Americans or US industry to afford. Some areas will have electricity and some will have fresh produce but all areas will do without, for the most part. Expect food riots.
Web Bots say there will be a major event, much bigger than 9/11, on Nov 8-11 2010. It will not necessarily be a false flag but it will start in the USA(Union of South Africa - just kidding) and spread to the rest of the world. A prime speculative candidate is the collapse of the US$. More details will emerge from the Web Bots analysis, as the date approaches ie closer = more detailed info. Severe decline in the US$ will begin on July 11 2010.
In other words, folks, vote for Ron Paul and those who align with his thinking, and educate your friends and family. There's very little time left and the majority of the masses remain in a blind stupor and don't even see the shackles already on their feet.
@chotaboy66 That is the sure giveaway for a reptilian. The actual eyes are below the human appearing eyes. The visual energy they send out is a face of a human but they have special trouble maintaining the data stream connected to the eyes and that is a sure give away. Very good pickup but these bastards are everywhere. They literally have no parents and cannot love anyone. They are incredibly vicious and ruthless and smart.
@rollsthepaul You guys in Canada still have guns right ,don't hand them in.If indeed these slippery half man half goanna's exist they must bleed. In Australia we are like lambs to the slaughter when and if they disarm America and hand it all over to those UN globalist commies.they are not that smart now we have consciousness on our side ,now the awoken are as smart as a serpent , just maybe the holy book holds some truth ,cant wait to see one in the flesh I would have to take a stick to it.LMAO
What I'm trying to say is: Profit is there to allow access to Power. Power is what the Banks are expressing. It is silly to object to how people express power or how they get profit if you construct a society which only cares about power and profit. Profit and power lead to more profit and power... so the banks will only get stronger.
If your concern is profit and self-interest, then the only thing you can possibly be complaining about is that you are not the one with the power / wealth.
@HBO While I agree with you that a central power is threatening and it's better to have decentralization for possibly the same reasons you hold... I am arguing about your support for Profit and how it engenders power. It's ironic that you ascribe to a decentralized model, but then support an economic model that reinforces and actually leads to centralization. You think governments are creating the problem, while I'm arguing the problem is the economic model, and government is a symptom.
@Ranger4564 Profit leads to advantage, leads to more profit, leads to more advantage, leads to oligarchs, leads to oppression of all. Profit is just a means of oppression, and the powerful, who are making the most profit, love that you're defending their mechanism of control. I'm just cutting to the chase because I'm not worried about myself, I'm sickened by the oppression others have to live through.
@Ranger4564 Profit breeds the worst characteristics within our society, and leads to disasters we're now seeing, along with millions starving to death and billions slaving in horrendous conditions. I'm not avoiding facts, I'm confronting them.
Some people have self interest, others have concern for others. We don't have to live in your world. I'm trying to make the world we live in tolerable to all of us: those who can't wait to fuck someone, and those who can't wait to fuck the fuckers.
@Ranger4564 If you know the world is full of people who are predominantly self-interested (I contend that this is a false premise and the world is not predominantly populated by self-interested people), then how about something to moderate that tendency because the results are disastrous? I'm saying you've all been acculturated to accepting mild suffering (profit / oppression) so that the rich can get richer without the poor complaining all the time.
@Ranger4564 If Power is acceptable, then to me, it makes no real difference how it's achieved because you cannot change the fact that there will be suffering. It might as well be arbitrary... robbery, crime, blackmail, threats. Why not? Why the false morality? So that as others suffer and die, you feel they deserved it because they were stupid and lazy, while you are worthy because you are smarter and worked harder?
@Ranger4564 Do you seriously believe that's why you are allowed to live while others are forced to die? Not chance, not circumstance, not fortune / misfortune, not luck? Why do so many have to starve and die while others feast? That is my damn point!
@Ranger4564 Ethical rules about immoral behavior are contradictory. Your excuse of "suffering is unavoidable" so lets make everyone suffer is appalling. If you know people have the capacity to be deviants, how about setting up systems which prevent or moderate deviation, rather than support deviant behavior? How about remedies? What if we lived in a world with the Mob in power? Do you surrender to the notion that we were all born to be thugs? Do we discuss the moral advantage of thuggery?
@Ranger4564 If we all have the tendency to be self-interested to the detriment of others (not sure I agree all of us have this affliction), then how about limiting our ability to be excessively self-interested, rather than promoting even more self-interest and neglect for all others? Profit does exactly that. It feeds that self-interest. But what if human suffering is bad , unnecessary , avoidable? Has that thought crossed your mind?
@Ranger4564 Finally, re small governments, as much as I would love to live in your idealized world where everyone was moral and ethical because they were serving their highest self-interest, I don't want individuals or corporations to pollute my rivers or land, work me for 16 hour days, refuse me health benefits or pension or retirement, etc. I'm not on this planet to suffer... I want to enjoy my life as much as possible. People want small government so they can break laws freely. No thanks.
@antoniojvr Indirectly, by having accumulated Billions of the wealth of the world, yes, he has, for many decades, allowed the starvation of people who could not afford to eat or get medicine or shelter or water. And directly, by allowing conditions that were not acceptable in third world countries. Yes. Even you and I are responsible. Responsibility comes with being on the planet and choosing to live in certain ways. You don't have to have malicious intent.
Put them all in a Federal POUND YOU IN THE A@@ PENITENTUARY ... it is way past time for the TRIALS to begin.. If your a Politician and your involved... keep a Tin Cup Near By... you'll need it as you sit next to the Banksters singing the My A@@ is worn out Blues
@HyperBorealOperator You're confusing Surplus for Profit. Your argument is illogical because we are different from animals in our ability to be cognizant. But even if I was just an animal, what you consider to be essential is preposterous only because Profit privileges the recipient and grows to eventually create disparities like the one we have now... it's not accidental that these episodes are cyclical. What good is profit if it's not to gain power? Usury is profit for a loan.
Capitalism, socialism and every other political and economic system that has been concocted the last 500 years have served only the bureaucratic elites in the case of socialism, or the rich "entrepreneur" ,industtrialist bankers who serve that false god that we call capitalism. Both socialism and capitalism are false idols.
@Alberto2382 I agree 100% with your statements. The question is, do you have any ideas for improving on those systems or a new system that's better? I am earnestly trying to define one...
Stacy's on a role and Max is not focused on the script hes thinking of doing Stacy, she does look attractive and hes is becoming Jaded cause of his popularity so now he is become obsessed with the camera, making him look like a egotistic narcissistic twat. Max is a smart guy but in this clip Not...
@BOBSMOKETV The key word here is really Narcissism (self-interest). It's the elevation of the self to such megalomaniacal levels (self-aggrandizement) that causes the dislocations and disturbances. Profit of any sort is the real problem. Profit requires deficit somewhere. We just haven't focused on that requirement most of the time because it was usually someone else, and not us, facing the deficit. Usury sucks too by the way.
@Ranger4564 Profit is not the problem, profit without production is, because it's just a paper scam. There is nothing at all wrong with profiting from real wealth production and value improvement. Without that nothing will be done beyond bare subsistence. There is too much 'profit' (without production) in govt bureaucracies as well. That in fact is the worst greed as it's where all the spending went. These institutions have become bloated by only trying to increase their size and not efficiency.
@midnight9wanderer Cost can be based on how much is produced, not demand. The reality is profit is pointless when workers are unemployed because machines are displacing workers. With what surplus cash are those unemployed workers supposed to buy goods? Surplus can be engineered into societal thinking same as profit was. The profit motive is not innate and it's not human nature as so many argue... not everyone thinks in terms of profit. This is why there are disparities in the first place.
@Ranger4564 The unemployed workers are at a disadvantage due to personal and public debt. Their societies are being crushed because politicians have , in their own power-greed and self aggrandizement, ruined economies, put them at mercy of intl money changers. Globalization is the problem , not profit, and without a profit motive , nobody does anything. Superior production and performance should be rewarded in market activity, not political access, nor clever expediency, nor mass. Agreed, HBO.
@midnight9wanderer You are missing something. I'm not trying to describe the inefficiency of our economic system in it's ability to employ everyone... I am trying to explain that efficiency also means elimination of jobs... so is there something better we can be doing with out time other than playing chess (competition) all day? I don't want to repeat the same chore everyday and compete with you for profit. I want to use my time in better ways. Thinking and writing perhaps? Learning?
Germany is the biggest chump. When Nixon took the USA off the gold standard, France sent warships to retrieve their gold. Germany still "has" their gold in the USA. We all know it's not there and they won't get it back. All Germany has is the euro. Germany then let the UK and France into the EU. The UK is there to purposely sabotage Germany's ambitions. All the other countries are in the EU because they know Germany will bail them out or risk losing the euro which is all Germany has left.
This is what happens Germany when you make a deal with the devil. Japan almost identically parallel Germany. Did you honestly think you guys would get a fair deal after WWII? So Japan and Germany will continue being the slaves of the Anglo-Americans. Let's say the people of the USA rebel. The new gov't can't form because there will be so many factions wanting their own gov't. Think along immigrants allegiances, race, faith, and social standing. Western civilization collapse
@harveybirdmannequin This is as valid a reason to go to war as any. The intentional financial sabotage of any nation state should piss off those citizens to such an extent that they feel compelled to retaliate. I can't understand how any European nation is not already arming their ships and planes to assault the Anglo-American tyrants. But it's your fight. I'm in America and I am sickened by what this country has been doing for its entire history. Many great things but also appalling acts.
It is amazing how there are so many people without a conscience today...that is what sin does....and they have built this generation that will betray their country, constitution, neighbors, family, etc....for a badge , gun, authority, security, and credits in their account
@nathuwjohn Although I'm an Atheist, but I agree with the general message you're presenting. Malicious, Mean, Destructive, Pointless. But Christianity also teaches self sufficiency, and the Protestant work ethic is part and parcel of what led to the mindset that facilitated Capitalism, and the excesses of capitalism. You think absolute self interest can be contained? Cain / Abel. Adam / Eve. The problem lies within the definition of capitalism, that of self interest above all else.
Call me old fashioned, but I keep getting the sense that this whole financial thing ain't going to end pretty.....gunna be alot of blood on the streets...Woe to any Bankers!
"When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes.
Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain."
- Napoléon Bonaparte
"The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks."
Doesn't Schiff state the wall street banks should have failed?? Doesn't he also advocate return to constitutional republic government and personal liberties and local and state rights ? WTF is this guy saying?? And who says Austrians have it wrong or they are outdated. They never have had a chance to run things and they clearly point out the present errors in clarity. Vrabel's points are pure libertarian yet he attacks Schiff and not Keynes??
I like the guy interviewed. However, he does not understand Peter Schiff's position. Peter is not against government---He's against centralized government planning. He's all for more power to individual states.
Schiff is part of the system. He may be smart and honest on a lot of things, much more than most of the oligarchs in power, but the guy is a wallstreet broker, thus he's inclined to protect his interests and his financial peers, and that affects his philosophies and ideologies.
This is the most entertaining and INFORMATIVE episode ever! The mouth is agape at the fraud and crap the Banksters, IMF, and their ilk are cooking up, "Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd.
...Thrice and once the hedge (fund)-pig whined (flys?).
...Harpier cries 'Tis time, 'tis time.
Bubble, Bubble, toil and trouble...really if it wasn't so horrifically sad it'd be laughable....
We're a bunch of mutant monkeys with super charged intellects with the Universe at our finger tips and all we can do is completely throw away and waste it on fucking each other over for trinkets, shiny things, dirt, fossilized plant and dinosaur carcasses a.k.a. black gold, for pure unadulterated greed all via corrupt corporate fear based delusional nonsense, hyper violent death, destruction, and at the same time happily wrecking, ravaging, and annihilating our environment.
@mattghtpa Hallelujah Brother. I couldn't agree with you more. We are so wasting precious intelligence / energy / emotion on a socio-politico-economic system that is taking us in all the wrong directions. There are so many more important things we could be focused on, but we have to constantly worry about who has the biggest schlong. So sad.
@slhines7 I don't know if you understand, but the reason the Governmenta agreed to the bailout blackmail, is because the financial failure would have devastated all peoples, in many if not all countries, because money would have become meaningless. The only reason the governments agreed to the bailout is because they didn't have a contingency plan for such actions. So either way, GOV / We lose, but with bailouts, it buys us all time to come up with a plan. Have you got one? We need a plan.
Ive been hesitant to resist the idea of a one world government being a bad idea since that does seem like a logical progression for a advanced trans global civilization, but the way its being implemented of course is completely corrupt and polluted by all humanities fear and greed based fallings.
Well to all the NWO deniers please debunk the logic and reason just demonstrated in this discussion.
@mattghtpa I'm with you on this as well. I've been arguing for the dissolution of national borders and nationalism so we can move past the differentiators and move towards recognition of similarities. But the apparent cold-blooded dictatorial / neo feudal system I see appearing before us is not that enticing.
I still wonder if this isn't just a convenient way to drag everyone towards a benevolent socialist system across the globe, without anyone being able to resist really. Who knows.
Hello here from Spain. There is not solution. The economy stopped, the tax incomes droping, the politicians totally corrupts. We must treat them as criminals not as candidates.
I know there is not solution but total shrink and famine for this country and I suposse that this is for all the EU.
Terrible EU and stupid people voting criminal politicians and shit parties.
Peter Schiff is trying to do exactly what Damon is talking about, so I don't get why he is saying that Peter is wrong, I guess he doesn't really know what Peter Schiff is about.
I cannot speak for Schiff, but have been following him for years. It seems as if Damon is not aware of Schiff's position on gov. The problem we are having is a strong centralized gov. that is not what our founders envisioned, and is one that is not working in the best interest of the people. We need our gov, as was written in our founding documents, but we do not need career politicians that are entrenched in corruption, scandal and theft; what is happening now.
Wrong, there is nothing wrong with a strong centralized government. All this anti-government shit is nonsense. You want a government that is more powerful than the private interest. The problem is right now the oligarchy rule to their own interest. You will always have somebody in power, if its not the government, it will be private interest.
Yeah not only do I got eyes, I have a brain and I know history. The problem is cause by finance oligarchy which also sponsors these scribblers like Von Mises and the rest of them.
Central banks, big commercial banks, corrupted politicians and the lying media have declared war against the working People of this world. But they will lose BIG this time and no police either army won't be able to protect them.
End Game called "ONE WORLD ONE DREAM" where everyone finally have peace and live in harmony. A coalition world government will be established. (Britain gives us a glimpse of the future. )
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
When Peter Schiff's people win and get rid of the government, we will back to live in a primitive world. Blind leading the the blind. Mobs will rude. We are doing much much much better now.
@overseachininadoll No one is trying to get rid of government, it is to change government back to what is was suppose to be. Government is suppose to provide an environment of fairness and safety so we can all pursue life, liberty and happiness. This does not mean government is suppose to provide healthcare, education, insurance, pension, a home etc. That is all from your own personal responsibility and hardwork. That is what made America great, not Big Brother, not big government.
The current global situation is not a coincidence / crisis. It is a planned coup. The Capitalists are dismantling governments for a specific goal, and the governments are cooperating. This is a conspiracy, but for what ultimate purpose, I don't know. If anyone thinks the Banks or Government officials are stupid, I suggest you go watch a bit of Michael Parenti or Noam Chomsky, because they'll explain how people are manipulated. Eschatological (end times) indeed. Martial Law may be next.
So he wants governments to fix the problems they created in the first place? He wants governments to tackle the creation of one global system(government)? Thats ridiculous the people are the ones who are resisting this global dictatorship..
@joshv89 Are you deaf? He's not saying how governments should resist the global financial onslaught (however it's accomplished); what he actually said plainly is: all you Capitalism freaks are nuts, it's the financial sector that is the bad actor in this coup, and the Capitalists are dismantling Governments. Historically and now, Governments arose to protect people from unbridled Capitalist Machiavellian wet dreams; ergo Governments are the guardians of the people, Capital is the nightmare.
Our Big Government is corrupt. The Founders knew history and knew that power must never become concentrated in the hands of a few. The PEOPLE are sovereign and delegate some of their power to the government and keep the rest. The banking cartel bought the federal government and made it serve them, not us. Washington and Wall Street grew more powerful together as a result of their collusion. The dishonest capitalists need a powerful government to legalize their fraud and theft.
@AnnInFL Kind of, but no. The problem is that capitalism / profit enable accumulation of wealth. And the focus on self interest is what makes anyone with enough wealth act the way they do. Banks / CEO's are acting in self interest, so it's not wrong, per capitalist rules. What supporters of capitalism fail to understand is the same thing supporters of socialism or communism fail to understand... certain aspects of the system undermine the system itself, so there is inherent illogic.
@Ranger4564 What I'm trying to say is that you're upset because you're on the losing end of this bargain... my point is, unless you are a very shred / emotionally detached business person who's out to make as much profit as possible, you are bound to fail and will be subsumed by the ones who are willing to go that extra mile. That's capitalism. That's why certain companies get bought. The more egotistical fish eats the less egotistical fish. The system breeds bad behavior.
Well, I guess I have to disagree. That people act in their self-interest is fine, as long as they do not cheat, steal, lie, or use violence to achieve their ends. Moral individuals, although self-interested like everyone, have a moral code that prevents them from violating others' rights. Because not everyone is moral, we need laws and government to protect us. However, immoral capitalists can only "win" if they obtain legal protection (govt.-granted monopolies, bailouts, etc.)
@AnnInFL The whole argument from Libertarians and Conservatives is always tht Socialism / Communism fail because you can't trust anyone to be benevolent. Now you're asking me to believe that all Capitalists can achieve that? I know what you're getting at, but you're frankly ignoring the problem and hoping that ethics can somehow enter in and solve the problem. It's the lack of ethics of the system of Capitalism that is the source of the problem.
But I wish you luck, because if your plan succeeds, at least there will be less corruption. Remember though, Tom DeLay went into politics to stop regulations that prevented him from polluting the environment with carcinogens. The law existed, but this amoral capitalist decided the law sucked.
@Ranger4564 Exactly. The conservative-libertarian ideology religion is mentally incapable of regurgitating the excrement equivalent of: "since sexually raping children is bad, the better alternative is burning women alive". As though the better alternative to big bad government coming after you and taking away all the poor's resources is psychotic amoral selfish capitalist corporations coming after you.
Do you know that governments are the result of the kings and queens who rules Europe by the use of force, governments were never put in power they forced themselves into power, people never had a choice of wanting a government or not
@joshv89 I know. But there are some things which are not what they seem. We can be under the subjugation of a government or we can choose to elect a government that we want to enable to perform some oversight.
Here... this is Max Keiser speaking and I completely agree with him 1000000000%. Start at 8:58 and listedn to the end. watch?v=iQkTBWouySU
@joshv89 I wasn't clear yesterday, but I wanted to make sure I was clear. I am absolutely for the abolishment of as much government as we can manage. If we can organize our communities such that there is no overlord, that is much better. However, I'm concerned that when we live in communities which become large enough that specialization is necessary, then authority is also specialized. So we have to organize below that level. Anyway, if I had the answers, I'd let everyone know.
electronic cash, implanted chip where all of your medical records, bank account and everything you need to function in this world will be stored and when they dont need your slave services anymore...you are out!!! ah, and they will be able to track their slaves everywhere they go!
Yes, the plan is to crash the nation states so the starving masses beg for a global tyranny. It'll be based on a cashless fiat debt feudalism and enforced by remote control surveillance-death-toys like Predator drones (but bigger and 'better') which will sensors and weapons. Goodbye local autonomy and vote directed policy. Soon there will be stealth blimps, privately owned and leased to the central power, over major cities to keep us in line. (kids: by 'soon' I don't mean next week)
Who is this guy kidding ? I'm not sure if he's an idiot or a disinformation asset, but if you think the same criminals that got us in this mess should be responsible for fixing it your crazy. People are finding other ways to trade, as the system is being remade right now among small groups of people, and businesses. Banks and their extortion scheme are going to be eliminated by lack of participation. We have the choice to change without them. Elect someone you know, and trade locally.
@dhuntor All that Nut is trying to explain to you is that in his perspective, people won't have enough strength against the machine that is capital... therefore, we need Government to exist and we need to ally with Government, instead of precisely what you're doing, which is to chastise Government and stand alone. He's merely saying that standing against government in a 3 ring circus, is going to mean Government loses, People lose, and Capital wins. Stand with Capital, People lose.
Flying pigs and winged-skulls? Okay, true friends of Max's should check into the possibility of syphillis. I understand that it affects the mind. (he does live in France, you know)
AP: News Bankers jailed, sued as Iceland seeks culprits for crisis.
Iceland's major banks failed, all but sinking the country's economy, police have begun rounding up a number of top bankers while other former executives and owners face a two-billion-dollar lawsuit.
Since Iceland's three largest banks -- Kaupthing, Landsbanki and Glitnir -- collapsed in late 2008, their former executives and owners have largely been living untroubled lives abroad.
its a crime that this show doesnt get more views :( Also the guy is wrong about Peter Schiff. Peter wants to return to a constitutional government just like Ron Paul does
Somebody tell Damon that Peter Schiff is running for Senate this year!! Peter, Ron Paul and Adam Kokesh are running for government positions so they can give the power back to the people and states. Damon is right, we have to take our government back and that's exactly what Peter is doing. WE have to make sure these guys win their campaigns!!
Still watching the first part here. I can remember predicting this a while ago that the Fed, the UK, Switzerland etc(my prediction was Switzerland also but havent checked)Would do whatever they can to prop up the Euro @ the sacrifice of their own currency. The theory behind it is that they want a one world currency & in order to justify it they need an example of united is best, hence destroying their currency to save the Euro. But i thought it would have been done in secret, not open like this!
I'm not sure where he's getting the idea that Peter Schiff is attacking the republic. Everything I've heard Peter talk about is restoring the government to what it is supposed to be.
Always thinking on the ground point before you act. If you lost that point then you will step out in the dark and that dont help any of us.
Its in general just simple order to folow but easy to forget in a world full of hate.
But I just say dont lost your self in this most importent point. With out that point we are just lost. And we just then go in this circle *to always com to same place wen you try to go forward is ofcourse not fun.
I'm no expert, but isn't that a slight misrepresentation of Schiffs position? I would love to hear Schiff's response to that. I don't think the guy was being mean spirited, but this would make for an interesting debate.
So start think how to inform people and your self about the true.
Like I said before and others say to of course .Half we do is transport and the rest are energy and iformation. But in fact if analyse it more ,energy care information and vs.
And then its just parts of love and fear and love carry fear in afraidness to lost it.
That you know its in your old culture....Just reminding..
"The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board administers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money" -- Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., 1923
Absolutely vital information that confirms what we have been expecting for a few years now (even decades for those who have knowledge of the plan). The plan to create a global government and a global financial system is under way. Global socialism with a ruling class and slaves (working class) based on the ideals of the theosophists, the fabial socialists and those who financed the nazis.
very interesting topic.

LOL

These 'nice' people suggest to me that: Why yes, we plundered the people of earth and by gosh we're gonna keep those ill gotten gains".
christophercredit 1 year ago
@christophercredit I found Wittgenstein very helpful in understanding this. His use of the term, "Language Games", (the made-up/ assumed/ accepted rules governing logic). As a Metalanguage to Logic, hence Math Physics, Chemistry, and down through Biology. Free Market Capitalism is a game within a game. We can't clearly see the bigger game. We are the chumps in their game. This applies to all alledged systems, religious, political, economic, etc. Essentially, only suckers play by rules.
itsanameisntit 1 year ago
@itsanameisntit Agreed. For some time I have noticed that the entire system (economic) is a scam. A true free market supply & demand capitalist system can only work if people are honest about certain facts. For example, if everyone was adhering to the precepts of 'The Golden Rule' (do to others as you would have done to you) we wouldn't need consumer protection regulations; but we know the reality. Now we protect only the thieves. We cannot allow essentials (food, housing, etc.)to be manipulated
christophercredit 1 year ago

@alalelalex - @alalelalex - I understand the appeal of Austrian theory and the voluntarist proposition. problem is that they're false. they don't fit with history. the only thing that kept the mega Brit banks like JPM from raping all of us faster was the constitution, but now that they've successfully driven govts to bankruptcy, our future is grim. also if you think JPM having total free reign vs. a local bank that you open with your own currency is a "free market," good luck with that.
councilonsper 1 year ago
@councilonsper
A piece of paper like the constitution or a vote mean nothing if they cannot be enforced by the free market.
alalelalex 1 year ago
I agree with Vrabel, government is the answer - real and representative government.

Ranger4564 1 year ago
@HBO While I agree with you that a central power is threatening and it's better to have decentralization for possibly the same reasons you hold... I am arguing about your support for Profit and how it engenders power. It's ironic that you ascribe to a decentralized model, but then support an economic model that reinforces and actually leads to centralization. You think governments are creating the problem, while I'm arguing the problem is the economic model, and government is a symptom.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 Profit leads to advantage, leads to more profit, leads to more advantage, leads to oligarchs, leads to oppression of all. Profit is just a means of oppression, and the powerful, who are making the most profit, love that you're defending their mechanism of control. I'm just cutting to the chase because I'm not worried about myself, I'm sickened by the oppression others have to live through.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 Profit breeds the worst characteristics within our society, and leads to disasters we're now seeing, along with millions starving to death and billions slaving in horrendous conditions. I'm not avoiding facts, I'm confronting them.
Some people have self interest, others have concern for others. We don't have to live in your world. I'm trying to make the world we live in tolerable to all of us: those who can't wait to fuck someone, and those who can't wait to fuck the fuckers.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 If you know the world is full of people who are predominantly self-interested (I contend that this is a false premise and the world is not predominantly populated by self-interested people), then how about something to moderate that tendency because the results are disastrous? I'm saying you've all been acculturated to accepting mild suffering (profit / oppression) so that the rich can get richer without the poor complaining all the time.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 If Power is acceptable, then to me, it makes no real difference how it's achieved because you cannot change the fact that there will be suffering. It might as well be arbitrary... robbery, crime, blackmail, threats. Why not? Why the false morality? So that as others suffer and die, you feel they deserved it because they were stupid and lazy, while you are worthy because you are smarter and worked harder?
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 Do you seriously believe that's why you are allowed to live while others are forced to die? Not chance, not circumstance, not fortune / misfortune, not luck? Why do so many have to starve and die while others feast? That is my damn point!
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 Ethical rules about immoral behavior are contradictory. Your excuse of "suffering is unavoidable" so lets make everyone suffer is appalling. If you know people have the capacity to be deviants, how about setting up systems which prevent or moderate deviation, rather than support deviant behavior? How about remedies? What if we lived in a world with the Mob in power? Do you surrender to the notion that we were all born to be thugs? Do we discuss the moral advantage of thuggery?
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 If we all have the tendency to be self-interested to the detriment of others (not sure I agree all of us have this affliction), then how about limiting our ability to be excessively self-interested, rather than promoting even more self-interest and neglect for all others? Profit does exactly that. It feeds that self-interest. But what if human suffering is bad , unnecessary , avoidable? Has that thought crossed your mind?
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 Finally, re small governments, as much as I would love to live in your idealized world where everyone was moral and ethical because they were serving their highest self-interest, I don't want individuals or corporations to pollute my rivers or land, work me for 16 hour days, refuse me health benefits or pension or retirement, etc. I'm not on this planet to suffer... I want to enjoy my life as much as possible. People want small government so they can break laws freely. No thanks.

BOBSMOKETV 1 year ago
@BOBSMOKETV The key word here is really Narcissism (self-interest). It's the elevation of the self to such megalomaniacal levels (self-aggrandizement) that causes the dislocations and disturbances. Profit of any sort is the real problem. Profit requires deficit somewhere. We just haven't focused on that requirement most of the time because it was usually someone else, and not us, facing the deficit. Usury sucks too by the way.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 Profit is not the problem, profit without production is, because it's just a paper scam. There is nothing at all wrong with profiting from real wealth production and value improvement. Without that nothing will be done beyond bare subsistence. There is too much 'profit' (without production) in govt bureaucracies as well. That in fact is the worst greed as it's where all the spending went. These institutions have become bloated by only trying to increase their size and not efficiency.
midnight9wanderer 1 year ago
@midnight9wanderer Cost can be based on how much is produced, not demand. The reality is profit is pointless when workers are unemployed because machines are displacing workers. With what surplus cash are those unemployed workers supposed to buy goods? Surplus can be engineered into societal thinking same as profit was. The profit motive is not innate and it's not human nature as so many argue... not everyone thinks in terms of profit. This is why there are disparities in the first place.
Ranger4564 1 year ago

Vrabel's points are pure libertarian yet he attacks Schiff and not Keynes??
elricmlbone 1 year ago
I like the guy interviewed. However, he does not understand Peter Schiff's position. Peter is not against government---He's against centralized government planning. He's all for more power to individual states.
gregaci 1 year ago
Schiff is part of the system. He may be smart and honest on a lot of things, much more than most of the oligarchs in power, but the guy is a wallstreet broker, thus he's inclined to protect his interests and his financial peers, and that affects his philosophies and ideologies.

So sad.

END ALL SO CALLED BAILOUTS!!!
slhines7 1 year ago 4
@slhines7 I don't know if you understand, but the reason the Governmenta agreed to the bailout blackmail, is because the financial failure would have devastated all peoples, in many if not all countries, because money would have become meaningless. The only reason the governments agreed to the bailout is because they didn't have a contingency plan for such actions. So either way, GOV / We lose, but with bailouts, it buys us all time to come up with a plan. Have you got one? We need a plan.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
Ive been hesitant to resist the idea of a one world government being a bad idea since that does seem like a logical progression for a advanced trans global civilization, but the way its being implemented of course is completely corrupt and polluted by all humanities fear and greed based fallings.
Well to all the NWO deniers please debunk the logic and reason just demonstrated in this discussion.
mattghtpa 1 year ago
@mattghtpa I'm with you on this as well. I've been arguing for the dissolution of national borders and nationalism so we can move past the differentiators and move towards recognition of similarities. But the apparent cold-blooded dictatorial / neo feudal system I see appearing before us is not that enticing.
I still wonder if this isn't just a convenient way to drag everyone towards a benevolent socialist system across the globe, without anyone being able to resist really. Who knows.

mackdmorris 1 year ago 3
I cannot speak for Schiff, but have been following him for years. It seems as if Damon is not aware of Schiff's position on gov. The problem we are having is a strong centralized gov. that is not what our founders envisioned, and is one that is not working in the best interest of the people. We need our gov, as was written in our founding documents, but we do not need career politicians that are entrenched in corruption, scandal and theft; what is happening now.
BMWg84 1 year ago
@BMWg84
Wrong, there is nothing wrong with a strong centralized government. All this anti-government shit is nonsense. You want a government that is more powerful than the private interest. The problem is right now the oligarchy rule to their own interest. You will always have somebody in power, if its not the government, it will be private interest.

overseachininadoll 1 year ago
@overseachininadoll No one is trying to get rid of government, it is to change government back to what is was suppose to be. Government is suppose to provide an environment of fairness and safety so we can all pursue life, liberty and happiness. This does not mean government is suppose to provide healthcare, education, insurance, pension, a home etc. That is all from your own personal responsibility and hardwork. That is what made America great, not Big Brother, not big government.
utubingmetubing 1 year ago 3
The current global situation is not a coincidence / crisis. It is a planned coup. The Capitalists are dismantling governments for a specific goal, and the governments are cooperating. This is a conspiracy, but for what ultimate purpose, I don't know. If anyone thinks the Banks or Government officials are stupid, I suggest you go watch a bit of Michael Parenti or Noam Chomsky, because they'll explain how people are manipulated. Eschatological (end times) indeed. Martial Law may be next.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
Peter schiff wants the same thing. He just wants to reduce the spending and corruption within government. Am I wrong?
causechange 1 year ago
So he wants governments to fix the problems they created in the first place? He wants governments to tackle the creation of one global system(government)? Thats ridiculous the people are the ones who are resisting this global dictatorship..
joshv89 1 year ago
@joshv89 Are you deaf? He's not saying how governments should resist the global financial onslaught (however it's accomplished); what he actually said plainly is: all you Capitalism freaks are nuts, it's the financial sector that is the bad actor in this coup, and the Capitalists are dismantling Governments. Historically and now, Governments arose to protect people from unbridled Capitalist Machiavellian wet dreams; ergo Governments are the guardians of the people, Capital is the nightmare.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564
AnnInFL 1 year ago
@AnnInFL Kind of, but no. The problem is that capitalism / profit enable accumulation of wealth. And the focus on self interest is what makes anyone with enough wealth act the way they do. Banks / CEO's are acting in self interest, so it's not wrong, per capitalist rules. What supporters of capitalism fail to understand is the same thing supporters of socialism or communism fail to understand... certain aspects of the system undermine the system itself, so there is inherent illogic.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 What I'm trying to say is that you're upset because you're on the losing end of this bargain... my point is, unless you are a very shred / emotionally detached business person who's out to make as much profit as possible, you are bound to fail and will be subsumed by the ones who are willing to go that extra mile. That's capitalism. That's why certain companies get bought. The more egotistical fish eats the less egotistical fish. The system breeds bad behavior.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564
AnnInFL 1 year ago
@AnnInFL The whole argument from Libertarians and Conservatives is always tht Socialism / Communism fail because you can't trust anyone to be benevolent. Now you're asking me to believe that all Capitalists can achieve that? I know what you're getting at, but you're frankly ignoring the problem and hoping that ethics can somehow enter in and solve the problem. It's the lack of ethics of the system of Capitalism that is the source of the problem.
Ranger4564 1 year ago 2
@Ranger4564
But I wish you luck, because if your plan succeeds, at least there will be less corruption. Remember though, Tom DeLay went into politics to stop regulations that prevented him from polluting the environment with carcinogens. The law existed, but this amoral capitalist decided the law sucked.
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@Ranger4564 Exactly. The conservative-libertarian ideology religion is mentally incapable of regurgitating the excrement equivalent of: "since sexually raping children is bad, the better alternative is burning women alive". joshv89 1 year ago
Ranger4564 1 year ago
@joshv89 I wasn't clear yesterday, but I wanted to make sure I was clear. I am absolutely for the abolishment of as much government as we can manage. If we can organize our communities such that there is no overlord, that is much better. However, I'm concerned that when we live in communities which become large enough that specialization is necessary, then authority is also specialized. So we have to organize below that level. Anyway, if I had the answers, I'd let everyone know.

Banks and their extortion scheme are going to be eliminated by lack of participation. We have the choice to change without them. Elect someone you know, and trade locally.
dhuntor 1 year ago
@dhuntor All that Nut is trying to explain to you is that in his perspective, people won't have enough strength against the machine that is capital... therefore, we need Government to exist and we need to ally with Government, instead of precisely what you're doing, which is to chastise Government and stand alone. He's merely saying that standing against government in a 3 ring circus, is going to mean Government loses, People lose, and Capital wins. Stand with Capital, People lose.
