It's not just a matter of opening the throttle and changing gears as many non-drag racers think. You've gotta deal with spinning the tire and wheelies for example..
Actually yes, I go to the dragstrip to work on my launches... I'm a roadracer. You see, after getting a good launch, without the tire spins or wheelies, I have to race through CURVES.

blah blah blah. riding curves is just looking and leaning. get over yourself. drag racing is difficult or everybody would have the same time.
