  • this really works the skin over my body

  • forgive my ignorance, but is that kind of accordion called Bandoneon?

  • I wish Woven Hand would go back to being 16 Horsepower.. My Soal needs the rawness of the GOD music again.

  • @MidnightDefender I think Woven Hand is just as much religious in nature as 16 HP. They are certainly different (26 HP being more country-rooted) but "To Make A Ring" and "A Holy Measure" still have DEE singing about his devotion to God.

  • Heartwrenching. I always felt 16 horsepower sound was somewhat of an artistic soulmate to me; I love him and love his work, even more so since I've seen him here in SF a few years ago. Hard to name any other current singer who would be that deep.

  • this is even better than the album version...pure perfection

  • Calling on all Wovenhand fans. If you love this band please check out this article and spread the word about them. 6 HD videos, over 100 photos

  • idk bout this

  • not bad..but doesn't compare to the original version

  • απίθανος ...... το κομμάτι φοβερόοοοοο!!!!

    ΚΑΙ ΤΙ ΛΌΓΙΑ !!

  • sumfwbw apoleita mazi s rinaki...

  • .....irrelevant.....

  • DEE is so beautiful

  • religious rock usually blows, but these guys are far out and extremely progressive

  • Is this song on dvd or some thing?

  • It's as if he made this song his own with his lyric pronounciation and musical exspression. Too bad the sound man screwed it up with feedback. I wish they would record this in the studio just the way they performed it here.

  • Could anyone inform me about the kind of music that 16Horsepower represent? Very ignorant of me,but i have no idea of this music area...This group is really dark and makes my heart tremble,so i want to know more...

  • seeing that they covered two Joy Division songs, it seems to me they play a local country/folk music but darkened by joy division and maybe some other bands. just how i see it.

  • Thanks a lot! Anyhow, they are just awesome! That deep darkness really reminds Joy Division's work...

  • I couldn't agree more, they don't sound like joy division at first but at some level it really does, also ian had some very "touching" lyrics, just Like David.

  • gun club. he LOVES gun club

  • Gun Club = Nick Cave

  • @folsomtiefighter Gun Club doesn't sound like Birthday Party or the Bad Seeds

  • Dark like the steady rumble of deep battle drums, the clear song of a soul contrite and humble. I always called them somber-indy-folk/rock. Have you heard Cinder Alley? One of my favorites. If you like these guys you'll love Woven Hand. It's the lead singers solo project, David Eugene Edwards is the man's name.

  • Cinder Alley is a great song! I also love "Burning bush","Haw","Flutter","Brimstone rock" and "South Pensylvania Waltz".And you were totally right,Woven Hand are superb!!! I loved "the speaking hands"...!

  • Not to mention scrawled in sap, sinnerman and basically any track David adds his voice to...

  • gather up all your music and bury it in a deep hole.then go and get the lost recordings of hank williams and absorb it.then unearth your music and then you will find your answer!!!!!!

  • some call it gothic folk. i just call it 16 horsepower. glad you enjoy the song.

  • hank williams forever!!!

  • wonderful. how can a song be sooooo beautiful ?

and his voice... i'm deeply moved by such a great song.

  • αγαπώ

  • this is absolute and pure brilliance :)

  • couldnt have put it better!

  • So beautifully tortured...

  • the lyrics and music of hank williams sr.from the likes of ray charles, bob dylan, johnny cash, elvis presley, nora jones.tony bennet(amoung others who have recorded his songs).

  • δεν εμεινε τιποτα να νιωσω

  • πραγματικα εκπληκτικο δηλαδη τα λογια ειναι περιττα

  • No idea what you said but hell, it looks good!

  • great.such soul.bravo.

  • Where is this song played? I really like to know :D.

  • for me, their albums never get old..definitely one overlooked band here in the u.s.

  • why was this band not bigger ?

prophets in their own land and all that, no doubt. but they were great

  • David Eugene Edwards is perfection.

  • 16 Horsepower is one of the best bands ever.<---i agree now, but im stoned and drunk i who i am? ah, esto... ¿en qué idioma es este? Where´s Donna? Where´s Sue? Where´s Marilyn? Oh...

  • Wow Cool Tune

  • They are indeed one of the best bands ever. Glad I got to see them in Denver a few times. Great great stuff.

  • Of course the lyrics are amazing. They were written by Hank Williams.

  • It's a Hank Williams song, nooch.

  • 16 Horsepower is one of the best bands ever.

  • nothing more to say . it's perhaps, fo my part, their best song (the lyrics are just amazing, but a bit sad :))
