Would have been better if the organist hadn't had such a big ego and drowned out the probably great choir. It's a hymn of praise ergo WORDS and music.
@Tingleyman - It's a processional. You don't hear as much of the choir because they are processing in. When they all get in on the last verse, you hear the choir just fine because they are in front of the microphones. I can assure you this organist does not have a big ego and was not trying to drown out the choir.
Just wonderful. Fantastic organ and organist. An awe inspiring church and good choir. Wonderful arrangement of pipes. The sound reminded me of Virgil at Riverside - when the organ leads the way the congregation just has to follow.
What a wonderful arrangement - very moving indeed. I shall be practicing a replication in your honour! Wonderful use of the 32' reed at the end too! Greetings from (damp, grey, raining) England :-)
Ruffatti makes thee most wonderful pipe organs. Stunning beauty in design, and exceptional tonality! These organs send shivers down my spine, and make water fill in my eyes... amazing. Absolutely amazing.
@AMGBenzS65 "And make water fill in my eyes"....isn't amazing that no other instrument can do that to people? Then when you get someone like Samuel Metzger. Fred Swann, Bruce Neswick, Gere Hancock, Dorothy Papadakos and so many others at the organ the tears really flow then! Oh, and a S65 would not only make the tears flow, but also get my blood heated up and racing as well for this former owner of a 126 Chassis (420 SEL) and 123 chassis coupe (Turbo Diesel), the greatest cars on EARTH.

I understand he is no longer at Coral Ridge? What a shame. Loved hearing him play.
