use iron doors insted of "hidden piston doors" with that it´s easier to fool them. ^^

cause your way of "hiding" the "door" isn´t very good. ^^

some ideas i tested were 1.

the squashy pistons (add some sticky pistons to a 5-clock adn put eg cobblestone infront. bould this in a squere or something like that and it will kill people ^^.

2. the lava trap. (you seal the way behind the player and open a hole in the ceiling and let lava throught i. ^^)

3. the hidden dispenser. ^^

@drizzt7dourden7 Lol i know what you mean about the doors. In our server my friend did the trap and had a iron door, It's gotten almost everyone that's walked by xD

Besides the hidden dispenser i've been playing with the other two idea on my test world. I had a really neat idea fo a lava trap. 1x2 hallway with a iron door, and pressure plate, step on the pressure plate you fall down into a small pit, then the piston squishes you. If you break the block suffocating you lava immediately pour in.

@drizzt7dourden7 Undortuneatly The pressure plate and safety switch (Which turned the trap on and off) didn't work 100% so I stopped working on it for awhile

for the testing don´t use lava use water. ^^

and what i build was a tunnel (2X8X2) with an iron door at the end and a lever in the middle. after you pull the leaver 4 pistons seal the way behind you with blocks and another piston opens a hole in the celing with a lava block abov it. ^^ so you are trappt and the lava comes in.

i´m colecting ideas for some kind of adventure map. ^^ atm i try a 50X50 glass maze. (damn hard to build. :( )

@drizzt7dourden7 The lava worked fine lol, it was the trigger (pressure plate) and the safety, They failed way to many times to be a viable trap. I will work on it more.

I do like that idea I might do a tutorial on something of the sorts.

Ouch the maze does seem hard :/ i would use something to plane it out, paint at the very least and zoom in so you can count pixels.

thats exactly what i´m doing. ^^ (paint. but it takes f***ing forever to build a good maze and paint it like this. :(

however i will finish it ^^)

and how do they fail??

(btw i don´t like presure plates. thats why i use levers and buttens mostly. ^^ so far i have used them only for my hidden dispenser. ^^ )

make a doorway that when someone walks into it, there's a pressure plate that open's the floor infront of the pressure plates and fill down there with water and then they drown
