Its hard to get rid of chiken strips on concrete as it dosnt have a lot of grip better to do it on a road with good seal or on a roundabout at night when there is little or no traffic, but most of all ride within your comfort zone and dont be pressured by squids bragging about there lack of strips...... and forget about knee down ...... i have no strips and i've never worn sliders off the track ...its easy to get rid of the strips without ever geting ur knee anywhere near the ground.
elbows in, forearms should be parallel to the ground, chest on gas tank, and hold yourself up with your legs. then push the handlebars hard while giving it gas, shift the weight to the rear of the bike. goodbye chicken strips.
Use more counter steering. You look as if you are fighting the bike. At like 10 seconds if you turned the bars to the left it'd prop you over a heap more.
Thanks for this. I'm now riding a z750 which I feel a lot more comfortable on so will hopefully have a go at knee down, once I've sorted some sliders!
thats the plan hopefully once I've sorted some knee sliders on my leathers. Knee down with just jeans (like on this vid) on would not be good.....OUCH!!
You don't need to put your knee down unless you scrape your pegs...at least thats what I have found out. The only way I lost my strips was to stop kicking out my knee.

I changed tyres switching to BT016. Try it: strips won't be a problem

Go a bit quicker... at 30mph you can put your knee down and say goodbye to chicken strips :)

@hinesdeal82291 Yeah either that or you have to take your bike to the track and really get it down.
