Played Zelda OoT? Cuccos (chickens) live in towns. They're harmless and mind their own business. But you can hurt them. Killing one makes the others mad. They'll start to attack you non-stop until you leave the area.

(cont.) A funny challenge is to kill a cucco in the bottom of Kakariko's well (drained of its water) and then try to escape the cucco attack. You have to climb up the high ladder to the surface while cuccos maul you from all sides and make you fall down again.

This reminded me of that. Except cuccos hurt Link's health.

Yeah you can kill koopa, but you have to kill him without jumping. If you jump you land inside of the cannon and then you can shoot your way out.
