Early units are very weak indeed, but the position is not! Start by calling a Jihad on Lisbon in like the 3rd turn, you'll have the Portugese out of the way. Take Timbuktu, and you will have a region that is unchallenged, and gives you and extra city's worth of income by putting merchants on the many resources.
Then call a Jihad on Leon, and take Toledo on the way - and you have the Spanish destroyed. The Sicilians do take Tunis, but are too preoccupied with Cagliari and Ajaccio at first. :)

Well for one thing, it sounded awesome, sort of like egyptian music, it was just so epic, I mean the music just matched so perfectly with the vid, and thats one of the only reasons I watched this vid, the reason it is consored is either the song is popular, thats it most of the time, these people put music on here without asking permission, and is most of the reasons why it is censored, so they block the audio, and he had to replace it with this crappy africian youtube music.

Early units are very weak indeed, but the position is not! Start by calling a Jihad on Lisbon in like the 3rd turn, you'll have the Portugese out of the way. Take Timbuktu, and you will have a region that is unchallenged, and gives you and extra city's worth of income by putting merchants on the many resources.
Then call a Jihad on Leon, and take Toledo on the way - and you have the Spanish destroyed. The Sicilians do take Tunis, but are too preoccupied with Cagliari and Ajaccio at first. :)

yeah not very fun to fight either, battles take so long, with victory almost gauranteed, as you know as soon as they run out of arrows their stuffed, you just have to wait for them to tire, I always make sure I have one or two units of light cavalry when fighting Islamic armies
