This is really, really amazing. Of course, there were a number of things that I disliked when Cataclysm was released. However, the soundtrack was definitely worth the wait. I heard this song while leveling in Mount Hyjal and I literally stopped playing because the song was so memorizing. The soft melody at the start, and fast transitions which makes me visualize night elves going to war. What happened to the meaningful WoW? Now - it's all about gear scores, heroics.. it's just depressing, guys.

@toasterfriends i agree completely, and what did happen to the meaningful wow? well i can tell you the dungeon finder killed the whole social aspect it had, before we had to make good friends with all our tanks and healers to get them for instances, now i click a button and have a full group in 5 minutes, it truly has lost its touch in that aspect.

I know, I remember three years ago - searching for people my level and taking half an hour just to get a full group. I loved being in groups with people on my server, now you just end up with a bunch of strangers who don't even speak English. Though, I don't think it's Blizz's fault. It's just gamer's demand. They release a new game, and some a-holes come and soil it. If only they were around for vanilla WoW, when getting to level 60 made you feel proud - even if it was only a game.

@toasterfriends Oh my, vanilla wow was something else. idk about you lol, but back then i was pretty young so i even found the environments fasinating, For example stranglethorn actually made me feel like I was in a jungle, every quest with an elite in it was a heart-felt encounter with a boss. haha maybe im getting too dramatic, but it just lost that feeling.

@Lerroy007 I understand what you mean; I started playing WoW when I was 11 right when the Burning Crusade came out, and I spent hours just enjoying the environments. It really is a beautiful game. I quit about a year ago, after I got fed up with the constant anal rape Blizzard was giving my death knight tank ( I mean I know they were overpowered at one point, but by the time I quit they were just far worse than all of the other tanks by a considerable margin). I might come back now though.

@Gilithus yes it was magical, and if your angry about dks, ill tell you now the blood spec, which is there tankings spec, is overpowered even in pvp this patch, and there even getting a buff next patch, so if you are gona come back the time is probably now before they get a nerf :P

The first time most characters encounter it, is in Maestra's post where a group of Horde NPCs hopelessly outnumber a handful of defending Night Elf archers. Watching that scene and hearing that music has the effect of making anyone who's into lore and playing alliance, emphatize with the elves, and hate the horde. This is definitely an alliance song, specifically Night Elf. That's what this song has to do with what faction you are.
