Who in their right might thinks a robot, machine or a corporation is a person?
The owners of a corporation are shareholders. It is illegal to own a person or "shares" of a person or as some have put it, a human being. One Vote, One Person!
@blunt1984 I love the irony of Romney now having to focus on creating jobs as a politician when he made all his millions from running a company responsible for downsizing here and outsourcing overseas!
@machine1376 You are absolutely correct. His great "success story in business" at Bain Capital was actually that they bought up other companies and "reorganized them" by laying off workers.
So the guy who claims he will "create jobs" only has expertise in firing people!
Bravo. David surpasses Dylan in his social consciousness. I would compare him to Phil Ochs instead which is the highest of possible praise IMO. Thank you David.
As someone who would like to live in an egalitarian society, I agree that if there were no corporations, the world would be a much better place. Having said that, I think its a generalization to say that "a corporation's ONLY goal is making money." Certainly this doesn't apply to all corporations. There are thousands upon thousands of corporations; they aren't all evil and exclusively-profit motivated like BP or McDonalds or Shell.
ahhh... looks like the hippie came out of their hole.

I love this... I linked it from my facebook, (reasoning that Facebook is a corporation) but we have to get the message across somehow...
The reason I admire David Rovics is his ability to write no-holds-barred lyrics, that's superb.

Corporations are NOT people! They are Demonic Beings who deserve every last torture that they give us!

The sad thing is where I live (Kansas), Mitt Romney would be "too liberal" to win an election.
But it doesn't really matter who wins between the Dems and GOP overall. They are just two factions of the US Corporate Party.

I dunno about Dylan, but the vocals reminded me of Pete Seeger's "Garbage". That's the only song I know by Pete Seeger, don't take it the wrong way!

Great! I'm going to play this on my public access TV show featuring David Cobb who recently spoke in Endicott NY.

I can't help but compare this song to Bob Dylan's work. As far as I'm concerned that's one the the highest possible praises.
