Depends which anime. There are tons, and some studios are better than others; also, movies in general tend to get a better budget:length ratio. For a popular example, Miyazaki Hayao's movies for Studio Ghibli have a similar animation quality to this--compare Mulan with Spirited Away.

I like the Japanese lyrics better than the Chinese one tbh, because I watched this in Chinese before (on my TV...) and I think the lyrics weren't strong enough;;;

No one TRAINS them self to like anything Japanese. This song AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND movie was TRANSLATED into this language so that the people of Japan could enjoy the movie as we do. plus there's no "authentic asian feel" hello. this animate was created by americans which means they interpretd the story from an american perspective. like how the matchmaker score with a scoreboard, the humor thats used between mulan and the matchmaker, how mulan wants to express her individualismhow mulan father hugged her after pretending to be a man, etc. what chinese parent hug their grown up children? esp chinese fathers. ooo no they just slap you in the face if you do something bad.
