Hrm. I'm not a huge fan of a number of the sprites used in this. A lot of them feel like the person just took the original B/W sprites, changed them to grayscale, and ran them through a pixelization filter.

The remix of the song is pretty good, though.

Nice! Though some of the sprites seem a bit too high-quality to be 1st gen. For a sprite to look legitimately like a 1st gen sprite, it should look slightly off-model from the official artwork, and the backsprite should be barely recognizable. (This is not a slight to the 1st gen games though--I've been a Pokemon fan since then, after all. Just saying things like they are. :P)

@BabyCharmander The reasons the back sprites looked totally messed up is the japanese sprites were diffrent from the english. In Nintendo america they changed the front sprites but ot the back. lie take mew for example , if u ever cheated to get mew then you know that his back sprite mew's head has 3 humps. look at the japanese mew you will see then that our pictures are wrong not the japanese's.

@zachlm01 I find it actualy more interesting when npc bosses have overleveled pokemon because then I actualy am required to do some training outside of dodging every trainer and grass patch possible. Ever since I started doing that going through games I can always win. My first game was emerald and had hell of a time trying to get through elite four and wallace's tankage, took me about 3 tries. For FR,saphire, diamond and white I fought every trainer in existence then faught the bosses, and win.
