Max - that is an awesome achievement! As a regular to the tank I know what it takes to be that calm and dive down that deep. You'll be a great freediver someday.
don't forget that this was not an ideal dive for Max, he had to time it for when I was down there waiting for him, so there was pressure on him. It is a shame my camera ran out of memory before the end, otherwise the dive time would have been recorded!
I saw him going down to 15 meters in the same very relax manner. I am always amazed with children capacities to enter this new world. It seems to me that they remember (more than adults) the peaceful and aquatic environment of the gestation.
Most ADULTS turn around at half that depth and rush back to the surface in 30 seconds - the time it takes Max to make his descent. Most amazing is that he makes it look easy! Max is a prodigy! You must be proud.
