@XbLHellisDark thank you for your kind words :) I guess it happens to all of us once in a while. Pavarotti mixed up in his Concert at the MET, and Corelli at his Japan concert. But nobody cares because they are simply doing a great job. What is annoying in this business is the perfectionism in it all. If it were a professional studio recording then maybe it is allowed to criticise a little, in my opinion :) Thanks for the support and kindness.
a bit fast, take your time, great to hear a man, but still could be softer, great timbre in your voice, more pathos, listen to claudia muzio doing this same tune
Its really soft enough I think, his piano notes going behind in his neck aren´t foccused enough- Pathos is a very subjective theme; in my opinion that worked pretty good and more isn´t neccessary.
When you first started on that insecure attack I thought - oh boy, I'm not going to sit this one out - but I did and the more I heard you, the more your voice "grew" on me - its quite beautiful. The timbre is rich, and the rendition very sincere. Thankyou
Tenor has a very nice voice but the echo on the accoustical side is distracting from the overall performance. This is most likely due to a high ceiling in the building.
Very good interpretation and diction. Be careful not to pronounce the I vowels as in the English word "in"- Italian doesn't have that sound. As was mentioned in an earlier comment, it is nice to see young tenors who can sing with such a clear tone, and with such good diction.
The accompanist leaves a lot to be desired. Listen, for example, to how the 16th notes are rushed and distorted in the introduction and in similar places. Each note should be played evenly and legato. A good example is Ponselle's recording with her accompanist, Igor Chicagov.
i agree... the accompanist kills the introduction, totally insensitive to the nature of this song.... doesn't do it justice at all...especially on "Or per le mute..." bad intrepretation
This is one of my all-time favorite art pieces. You give a very passionate performance...even the little textual slip in vs. 2 didn't detract too much from the performance.
Que lindo!!!!

I hate when people keep bringing up that you mixed up the lyrics. That doesn't matter because you did a fantastic job! Beautiful

Beautiful job!
Just messed up the words in the second verse "Se pur talvolta spero" instead of "Or per le mute stanze" again.

What a find! Great to find young tenors who can really sing like this. Fabulous mezzo-voce and very sensitive interpreting. Thank you for posting!!

The diction is wonderful. Careful on the opening note, it didn't start quite in tune. Overall a good representation on this peice.
