damn this figure is amazing i have this fig not that famous. King Gainer is based on a manga withc they turned into a small series dayum that fotton mat ring is a strong wheapon and sure why not give him more powers he can also stop time witch is why hes called an overman him and another overman can also manouver another power :D damn that a mouth full love u z versus bigfan u know me i contact u in facebook aswell.

I don't know if any Revoltech figure with purely Revolver joints. The early figures often used cut joints like the hips of the Eva units and some of the Eva figures had cut joints for the wrists. The more recent figures like the Sengoku Basara figures use hinge joints for wrists.

I haven't watched the anime yet but I do like the design of the mech and I love the opening. It's so...interesting.

The effect part is for the sword is pretty much what you thought it was.

In the series, King Gainer's sword is more of a vibro-blade which cuts armor by allowing the blade to vibrate producing heat around the blade.

Additional info for the series, this mech is a biomecha (similar to Evas and Dunbine), plus this being the only series from Tomino that I have watched with a happy and light hearted ending.

I'm not big fan of the Revoltech figures becouse those suffer in anime accuracy. Thats why I'm more into Figma and Robot Damashi figures.
