I am not sure of the pourpose of this whole song but it is surely having an effect , i am feeling some interesting vibes from this song .No actual meaning can be given to this song but i can affirm it is beautiful and i am listening to this even tough it is used or not used in other pourposes than as a good musical piece.
@SpiritusSanctus7 Iam sure it was his wife. Just found it lost and that way she let him know, she would like to know... At last that was how i took it.
brilliant stuff...who likes those kind of things, may also - just as a tiny little tip - enjoy the main theme from "Black Hawk Down" written and arranged by Hans Zimmer...
Maybe the song is used in masonic rituals. @deinonychai is right the original song is romanian , i myself am romanian and did some research on it and it seems the song is pretty old ( a few houndred years at least ) . I myself heard the original live and it's pretty impressive , maybe in a actual ritual when singed live and backwards the infrasound may affect the brain in some way to help activate a certain gland in our brain (research pineal gland ).
@dianie3 :: As I understand it... the words in the song are a Romanian Orthodox confession of sin. When sung forwards, the first priest is apparently saying: "God said to the disciples: `A new commandment I give to you,'" while the second priest is apparently saying "we pray for the mercy, the life, the peace, the health, the salvation, the scrutiny, for diligence and the forgiveness of the sins of God's servants, worshipers, missionaries, and stewards in this holy place."
''In the ritual, the incantations in the background are in Romanian, played backwards'' My country is satanized by Hollywood... I saw too many times horor movies where Romania or parts of romania(moldavia, transylvania and Wallachia) are transformed in lands of darkness, of vampires, monsters. EVen in CHarlie's angels, the bad guy is romanian, in Haryy Potter the dragons come from ROmania. And of course Dracula!
@ZamolxesWolf .... i think the romanian language is very cool and since it sound pretty much like latin, that's why Hollywood uses it. if you ever heard Enigma , the muisc of Michael Cretu who is romanian sounds pretty cool because it has that misterious dark ambient that sounds like this music. i think that Romania is a cool place and you shouldn't worry about what Hollywood thinks about it.

The Lord said in front of his apprentice ... I give a command ...
Canto II
Translation:
Pray to the Lord for mercy, life, peace, good health, salvation, research, and departure for the forgiveness of sins of the children of those who pray to God will show mercy to take care of this holy place.
* The word Canto, both in Latin, Romanian and Portuguese, is equivalent in their language, sing, sing, or the very act of singing. Okay?
Something I never seem to register in films is the music Larry! Susan however soaks it all up and on hearing a piece of music can immediately tell you which film it`s from! I`ve seen this one and yet this music is unfamiliar! Hope you`re well. Stars and hugs..Jan (and Susan) x
