The man in long hair name Haji Ghulam Fareed Sabri died in 1994 .The another brother is Haji Maqbool Ahmed Sabri and still alive and perfrome all over the world

@TheAfgwoman He is the legend of Qawwali in the world. His name is Gulam Fareed Sabri (i think). He died but i think his son sings Qawwali now, internationally & nationally in Pakistan.

When their family migrated from India.. they were very poor.. and Ghulam Farid Sabri use to work very hard to support his family that he suffered with some lung desease .. doctor said to him that he will never be able to sing.. :) then his Father gave him a difficult task to do practice all the night daily for about 2 to 3 years.. and that was the reason of the deepness an loudness of his voice..

@jesusdagr8 Who does Allah love most? Who did Allah make this entire world for? The answer is Prophet Mohammed (SAW)(PBUH). When you make dua and ask Allah for something, it can be answered eventually, but when you ask Prophet Mohammed to ask Allah for your prayers, theres a whole new level. You know Allah wont take time to answer prophet Mohammed (SAW) prayers. Singer is not Replacing Mohammed SAW with Allah, what he sdoing is Asking the messenger to add more value to his duas.

I am not in Pakistan I live in UK and der thousands of things which can resist me from Islam and this is the thing which makes an unbreakable wall n opens my mind and blocks my diversion,,,MAY ALLAH GIVE SABRI BROTHERS PLACE IN JANNAT ,,always make me strong.. :'( :'( ...if some body give me chance to listen something , i will choose Sabri brothers ,, one of very few people who are still alive in everyones heart..

This is so nostalgic for me :( Now I am not in Pakistan, but I awfully miss those days of Ramadan in Karachi when my family used to gather for "Sehri" at my grand parents' place & my grand father turns on the TV with this qawali playing at the back & my grand mother instructs everyone to their chores, waking everyone up & kids half asleep rubbing their puffy eyes gather around the table.. It was so pure. She passed away last year & I miss her a lot :(
