  • In 2008, The Night that Nigger Barak Obama was Elected! Your own Kind, Proud Black Man 'Sean Puffy Combs' said it Best, and i Quote " Now, we have No Excuses"... Well, its Now 2012 and What is the Niggers Excuse this Time..? Niggers are Still Acting Like Animals and there Still Robbing and Shooting People. So i would Like to Know,What is the Excuse Now.? We Gave these Niggers a Chance and Now, there is No Excuse,We have No Choice but to Put these Niggers on a Ship and Send them Back to Africa!

  • its Obvious that we have got to put these Niggers back into Chains! This is Why Niggers were Slaves, Because They are Animals! Notice that All of Our Rich, White Politicians, Including 'Mr. Glen Beck, Would Never Even Dream of Living Next Door to a Nigger..But, for Some Strange Reason, They Make there People Live Next Door to Niggers. And its Not Funny Anymore, its Pathetic! Mr. Glen Beck is a Nigger Lover but do you Think he would Ever Dream about having his Family Live Next Door to a Nigger.?

  • people get attacked everyday....Unfortunatly a young kid died in the process terrible thing but play with fire and youll get burned.

    the police couldnt do much.

why is this called a hate crime??????

It was a black man who struck another one.... it might be gang relatrted crime.

    but no hate crime!!

  • @lowrida82 I disagree. I personally don't like the concept of hate crime. Why? Because all violent crimes are hate crimes whether their is racial motivation behind it or not. Splitting our society up into groups like hate crime legislation is doing does nothing but keep the black community in a position where young men like Derrion Albert become statistics.

  • You mean it wasn't a railroad tye like the brilliant Glenn Beck claimed??? I thought that kid could easily pick up a 100-125 lbs railroad tye and swing it?

Good call. Foxnews should hire someone like you who has some street smarts behind him!

  • ADDENDUM:

Just to clarify,I mean to opine that Jesse Jackson DOES make a VERY valid point about this being a 'hate crime'-For the plain, simple reason that, according to the "homeboys, thugs & gangstas":If you study hard, make straight A's and strive for excellence, and you're a Black person-then you're a "sellout"-"acting white",and "an embarrassment to the race".These so-called "bruhs" are So resentful if they see ANY of their peers/schoolmates go against the grain and be all that they aren't.

  • Note to betterworld1:

I beg ta differ with ya, m8...but I feel Jackson *does* make a vaild pint & it's *not* about "race"; You see, nowadays, Black kids that show ambition & try to excel in The USA are derided by their peers as 'acting White'. Sad but true. In any case, this incident HAS to be the CHIEF reason that Chicago lost thier Olympic bid. The murder rate in My Old Home is even wiorse than Detroit or Cleveland (And I *HATE* Cleveland!)

    So sad to see...

  • im sorry im no racist but gotta say i hate the slave talk (Oh arent we victimized and hated by the white man putting us down)...that guy at 1.02 wanna sound smart but he just seem like he smoked a joint to me not making any sense.(lol was that jesse jackson??)PLEase So called Victims, STop blaming The system!! Changes Start by yourselves not By the System!!!

  • Are you being WILLFULLY DENSE??? I've already stated that I DON'T EVEN LIKE AL SHARPTON OR JESSIE JACKSON!! Again, like I said, the only one's pointing blame is in this whole thing is YOU AND PAYNE! And if you can't see that, I don't know what else to tell you. I WAS A BLACK HONOR ROLL STUDENT! My daughter is a Black honor roll student, I've lived this life, I come from some of the roughest neighborhoods in Chicago AND Detroit

  • I don't care if YOU like them or not. It's NOT about YOU, it's about the effect that these guys have had on the cultural mindset by CONSTANTLY blaming and accusing good white folks of being racists. But my next question to you is if YOU came from the TOUGHEST neighborhoods in the country but managed to succeed then why can't others do the same? Please answer that question. What made you different from the kids in that video?

  • I never said it was about me. YOU kept referring to Sharpton and Jackson, AS IF THEY SPEAK FOR ME! When I've already told you that they don't. AGAIN, Where has ANYONE in this case blamed white folks? PLEASE POINT THAT OUT!!! The only person talking about blaming white folks in this whole discussion has been YOU and PAYNE! YOU and PAYNE were the only ones to even bring race into this discussion. And then when I point out that he's speaking on STEREOTYPES, now I'm "blaming whites" PLEASE...

  • I succeed because I won't accept anything less. My father wasn't around. My mother died of breast cancer. Some of these same people that Payne says hates to see progress, were the same ones telling me growing up, to go to school, keep getting good grades, you don't belong out here on the corner. I didn't just have support at home. It was at school and in the neighborhood too.

  • oh, i get it, you say youve succeeded but you still live in that kind of hood so your mind is still set on being 'down with the sickness' to keep yourself from being attacked. guys like maybe derrion was, who do good in school and are indifferent to the typical black crowd often get attacked. maybe he was trying to talk some sense into them. if he was trying to get away why didnt he run?

  • So what you're saying is that despite your hardship you were successful so you're making my point for me. What I don't understand though is what you mean by "the same ones" that Payne was criticizing were the ones who helped you out? I see where you claim they told you to stay in school etc, but I don't see where Payne has a problem with that. Payne's problem is with the race baiters and blamers so your point doesn't refute his argument it actually supports it.

  • What I'm saying is, I don't know how Payne got jealousy of those who succeed as a reason why Derrion suffered this beating. How the hell do you equate the two. This was nothing, NOTHING, but an opportunity to promote a stereotype about black kids. Plain and simple. And to make the stereotype more credible, they put it in the mouth of a black man. TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO BELIEVE IT. I'm done trying to explain this to you. Believe what you want to.

  • The reason you're done is because you realize you can't defend your position. In fact you're all over the place with every post. Now you're saying "THEY put it in the mouth of a black man" as if he was told what he had to say by FOX News. Just more nonsensical conspiracy theories rather than facing facts. It's OBVIOUS you know NOTHING about this guy. Payne's point is actually very simple. So simple in fact that it's astounding that you don't get it (or maybe you just CHOOSE to reject it).

  • The reason I'm done is because you're too dense to get it. I've been consistent in everything I've said. I've said from the very beginning that having a black man regurgitate black stereotypes, legitimizes the stereotypes for whites because it's coming out of the mouth of a black man. I've said it repeatedly. His stereotyping is NOT FACT, and I never claimed to know him. But what I do know is what he's saying right now is bunk. And you agree with him because you agree with the stereotype. DONE.

  • Dude a stereotype is an exaggerated claim with no basis for truth. What Payne said is the truth so it's not a stereotype it's just a reality that makes you feel uncomfortable because you've been taught to blame rather than seek solutions. He's simply sharing what he's experienced but you for some reason seem to believe that he's breaking some secret code of silence because he's not spewing the Jackson-esque talking points of fingerpointing at the white evil doers.

  • Point to one comment that I made where I blamed anyone for what happened to Derrion. Point to one comment where I said I agree with Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton. Point to one comment that I made that blamed white folks for what happened to this kid. CAN YOU DO THAT??? And you've already confirmed for me just what I've been saying all along. YOU AGREE WITH THE STEREOTYPE, and PAYNE just substantiates it for you

  • Do you work in these communities, have you lived in these communities? How would you know these to be truths??? Because Payne says so? LOL

  • ive worked and lived in and with people of these communities. but even if not, he could still know the truth about it if he were observant enough.

  • Oh and by the way you never did explain how you were able to overcome your odds but for some reason still believe that the ENTIRE NATION needs to change before other blacks can also achieve the same level of success? Why you and not them?

  • Comment removed

  • why dont you like jackson and sharpton? sure theyd like you.

  • did you notice jesse jackson injecting 'hate crime' into his speech as if to imply that derrion's death was somehow ultimately 'whitey's fault; since the term 'hate crime' is only used to describe white on other races crime to people like jackson? has any reason d was killed even been made public? maybe it was just a wild brawl and d just happened to get targeted.

  • we have the change we go after the world we should start in our house first then the streets we will b doing no good if our homes are jacked up

  • Listen to my response videos to Pastor Manning. I am done with house negroes for real. Like Chris Rock said, "There is a difference between Black Folks and N****s."

  • i didnt know that a boy's murder was related to stock analysis. silly me!

  • My question is why he ran into the brawl?

    R.I.P. Derrion

  • Funny how this discussion went from Derrion Albert to Rev. Wright and President Obama. Some people just can't help but to politicize EVERYTHING. This isn't a Black/White problem, this isn't a Democrat/Republican problem. THIS IS AN AMERICAN PROBLEM!

  • You brought up Obama dummy. Of course it's an American problem but we're talking about how to solve it. Do you expect blacks will allow whites to solve the problem? Dude, if you want the problem solved then the black community needs to be willing to reject outdated methods such as blaming whites, police, government, etc. and instead focus on parenting and education. It's VERY simple but it also requires a degree of humility in admitting that the previous methods of blame were ineffective.

  • Ahh, so the first insult is thrown. I don't know why I expected a civil debate. What on earth was I thinking. Your childishness aside. It's not about Blacks allowing whites to solve the problem, hell, this happens in White neighborhoods too. Racism does exist, Institutional Racism still exist. The election of a black man to the white house is not going to make this stuff magically go away.

  • Dude, there ALWAYS has been and ALWAYS will be racism. Which is bound to happen first... a black child succeeds because racial prejudice ceases to exist or a black child succeeds because his parents gave him guidance and he worked toward educating himself?

  • i dont think its as simple as u think u have to realize that even if black parents starts focusing more on parenting and education that this problem will still not be solved bcuz there are those who dont want to change and because of this there will always be violence A + B doesnt simply = C black parents have to start with their family and teach them so that there kids can teach there kids that violence is not the answer but its like even if that happens there will still be the violent ones

  • bcuz they just dont die out they teach others to be like them this problem is just so deeply rooted in the black society.

  • I never said that it would be easy but then again what is easy? You also don't need a 100% success rate to change the culture of a community. That's like saying why go to college because I won't ever get 100's on all my exams. The key is to do the best you can and right now that isn't happening because blaming feels better and requires less effort.

  • Youre right i just hate the fact that when something like this happens the media is always like we need to do something now to solve this problem and its like didnt i just hear this last week

And ya know blaming is part of the circle of life always remember..." its not your problem its theirs..." so expect to here another problem like this next week LOL

  • If you take a child of any race who grows up in a dysfunctional home he is automatically at a disadvantage. However, if the child spends his entire life blaming his parents he will likely not end up living a rewarding life. On the contrary if the child at some point makes the decision not to focus on the hand he was dealt but instead gets some help, works hard and makes healthy choices he will likely put himself in a position where he will create a better life for himself and his kids one day.

  • I would have started shooting... first as a warning shot, then anyone who came torward me- I hate violence, but letting violence like this rage out of control is irrational.

  • This Charles Payne guy speaks to the Black community with about the same effectiveness as Clarence Thomas. I've never seen a black man display his hatred and disdain for other blacks this much in 5 minutes in my life. And to regurgitate stereotypes that SOME white americans hold for black folk and have this coming out of the mouth of another Black man is sickening.

  • spann, its your mentality that perpetuates the problem.

  • My mentality perpetuates the problem? That's BS. You can be black and articulate the most heinous and vitriolic ideas against black folks, as is evident by Charles Payne. One thing that SOME white folks just can't understand is that Black folks are not a monolithic people. As the great Dr. Michael Eric Dyson once said. "The plantation is portable, and your mouth can be the freeway for it's articulation.

  • your plantation is of your own making and your incouraging other blacks to be in the plantation is hidious. btw, whats your solution; if you have one.

  • Of my own making??? Wow. So Oscar Grant was my fault? Amadou Diallo was my fault? Where in my statement did you get that I was "ENCOURAGING" blacks to be on the plantation? If you didn't understand my statement just say so, but don't try to put words in my mouth.

My solution would be for us as a country to acknowledge that this is an AMERICAN problem and not just a BLACK problem, because this type of thing is happening ALL over the country and not just in the ghetto.

  • anybodyd rather live anywhere than a black getto and bc of typical attitudes like yours. your solution is not a solution. these men in this video at least are talking about some kind of solution and of course nothing, hate mongers like you and typical black leaders are repelled by such talk.

  • That man was NOT talking about a damn solution. All he did was sit up and regurgitate white stereotypes of Black people. And since that's what your view is of black folk, he gets a pat on the head. But since I don't agree and am willing to say sO, I'm a hate monger? Go figure. I'm glad I'm not looking to be anyone's PET.

  • He's talking about the need for blacks to stop hating on whites, cops , teachers, etc and start focusing on parenting and education. He is black. He is VERY successful. Do you think he got where he is by sitting around pointing fingers or because he woked his ass off?

  • He's Pointing fingers now. He's belittling the black community now. He's making it very plain that he doesn't identify with the black community. Plenty of people come from these communities everyday and they NEVER disparage where they come from the way this guy did. Again, like I said before, all it takes is one black man to say what SOME white folks think about blacks and it validates the STEREOTYPE for them.

  • everybody would rather live anywhere than a 'black community' including blacks. the trouble is when too many of them move to another community they turn it into the same hell hole they came from.

  • The problem is that you're not used to hearing someone speak honestly and actually address the problem. What you want him to say is "UNTIL THE UNJUST RACIST SYSTEM CHANGES ALL BLACK PEOPLE WILL SUFFER!!!!!" But the problem is that that's what most of the community leaders chose to do and NOTHING CHANGES. So to simplify your position you don't care about change you only care about trying to make others feel guilty. The problem is that most people don't feel guilty which is which NOTHING CHANGES.

  • Please, when you get your ASSuming head out of your ass, let me know. Until you grow up, work and live in these communites, YOU HAVE NO FUCKING idea. And one black man, on FOX NEWS no less, regurgitating stereotypes of Black people, DON'T MAKE IT THE GOSPEL! You can't define my position for me. I DEFINE MY POSITION. The ARROGANCE of you mofos is astounding.

  • Okay let me call your bluff. I'm wrong. So what's the solution? How about you tell us? Go ahead I'm all ears.

  • First things first, This is an AMERICAN problem, not just a Black problem. This is happening in communities all over the nation. The instant we try to make it something that "THOSE" people do is when when all solution dialog ceases.

  • ppp, the first part of a real solution would be to inforce capital punishment on murderers.

  • Did it look like those kids asked Derrion, what was his GPA before they hit him in the head with a wooden plank? Did it look like they had time to ask him, which side are you fighting on before they punched him in the face? NO.

So this premise that they beat him up because they were jealous of what type of student he was, and because he wouldn't join a gang is a FALSE premise. It was an out of control street fight.

  • Your focus is still in all the wrong places in that rather than try to look for solutions you're hell bent on proving that others are wrong which in the end might make you feel like you won but accomplishes NOTHING. You need to let go of the ego so that you can see what other solutions might be out there because so far your blaming strategy is a HUGE failure.

  • And to have this man on TV talking about there being animosity towards those that achieve when it's CLEAR that there is no evidence of it is disingenuous and PROMOTES A STEREOTYPE of Black kids. And the fact that it came out of the mouth of a Black Man makes it easier for you to justify believing the stereotype. When it had nothing to do with the fight.

  • I'm ALL FOR PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY! Hell I got a video up right now calling for it! I never once said I blame the white man, I never once said I blame the system, I never once said it was anybody's fault except the boys that did it to Derrion and the parents of those boys that killed Derrion.

  • Then what exactly is your beef with Charles Payne???? It seems pretty obvious that when the rubber meets the road you know he's right BUT you're so used to the Sharpton / Jackson blame mentality that you think there must be something wrong with a black man who doesn't buy into their bullshit. Answer this, if Payne and Sharpton each took 100 poor black high school aged under their tutelage for ten years which group do you think would have the highest educational and occupational success rate?

  • Oh man you are WAY OUT OF TOUCH BRO. Go talk to black honor roll students and you'll hear time and time again that their peers accuse them of selling out to whites, acting white and if they don't speak in ebonics or hip hop lingo they get accused of sounding white. This is actually one of the GREATEST dysfuntional peer pressures in the black community that prevents mant kids from succeeding. It's EXTREMELY emasculating for a black child to be accused of acting or selling out to the white man.

  • So please tell me how I can be out of touch, when I'm surrounded by this community and this life? I've said all along, STOP making it like its just a problem that the Black Community is facing, it's happening EVERYWHERE. So what are we as a NATION going to do about it, other than pointing fingers? Which you and Payne seem so well versed in doing.

  • It's very simple. There's a saying that a fish doesn't realize it lives in water until it's taken out. Sometimes when you're surrounded by dysfunction you lose perspective as to what exactly is dysfunctional and what is normal. It's like when children grow up in abusive homes they often begin to believe that it's normal and then of course end up doing the same thing themselves.

  • it would solve alot of problems if blacks who have that sick attitude would change their attitude as this man said. why do you put down good men and defend racist, hate mongers like jeramiah wright?

  • SOME white folks hold these beliefs, and by having a black man articulate it for them gives theses stereotypes legitimacy for them. All they have to do is point to the "black" man that agrees with them and now the stereotype has "credibility".

  • The problem that you have is that Payne and Thomas don't pander to the dysfunction in the black community but instead offer solutions whereas Jackson, Sharpton, Wright and the rest of the crusaders IMMEDIATELY resort to blaming which resolves NOTHING but does however make them very rich and popular. Seriously bro, when is the last time you heard Jackson or Sharpton talk about the need for black men not to abandon their families and for kids to stay in school and respect their teachers? NEVER!

  • I'm not fans of Jackson or Sharpton, and quite honestly MOST of you never heard of Rev. Wright before last year when his sermon CLIP was looped ad nauseum here on YouTube. Again, that goes into thinking that Black Folks are monolithic in their thinking. I don't agree with Jackson or Sharpton on a number of things. I've heard the POTUS speak to these very issues, and the only black folks that get mad about it, are the ones that are guilty of those actions.

  • What difference does it make how long Wright has been in the national public eye? He's been preaching hate and blame for over 3 decades. And don't talk to us about Obama because he sat in Wright's pew listening to theat crap for 20 years.

  • First of all, I can say with all certainty that you were NOT in the pews where Rev. Wright preached, so you have NO IDEA what he's been preaching for the last 30 years. What you do have is an out of context clip from YouTube. Now what I find funny, is that I mentioned Obama addressing the very issues you talk about, and the only thing you can come up with is what church the man went to. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF EVERYTHING THATS SANE, FIND ANOTHER TALKING POINT.

  • There are NUMEROUS DVD's of Wright preaching hate. One doesn't need to sit in a pew to witness it first hand to know what a negative force he's been to the attitude black community. As far as Obama goes we know what he had to say about the Cambridge Police but what was his response to the Derrion Albert case? Can you point us to the quotes?

  • Preaching hate huh? Was it hate when Ron Paul was essentially saying the same thing that Rev. Wright was preaching? AND SAID SO IN NATIONAL DEBATES? Would you say Ron Paul has been a negative force to the attitude of the White community? And I don't expect Obama to say anything that hasn't been said already. He's already sent the AG to Chicago. And the only reason he said anything about the Cambridge Police was because he was ASKED what he thought.

  • The premise of the debate is that these hate mongerers have had a NEGATIVE impact on the black community so who cares about Ron Paul? When Obama was asked about the Cambridge situation he said "I don't know the facts but I can tell you the police acted stupidly." Did you hear that "I don't have the facts" but I KNOW the POLICE were WRONG! The black community will never improve until blame is no longer the acceptable norm. You can argue all you want but NOTHING will change.

  • Calling out injustice is not what I would call hate mongering asshole. The fact of the matter is, he was asked about it. He probably wouldn't have said anything if he wasn't asked about it, and a PERSONAL Friend of his was involved in the situation. Act as if you've never said something where you weren't fully informed or were asked your honest opinion and you were wrong about the situation and you're being dishonest.

  • The greatest injustice to black children an 85% abandonment rate by black fathers. Yelling and screaming about police, politicians, white people, etc, isn't going to solve that problem. Great people don't point fingers they take responsibility. It's a VERY simple concept.

  • Your "stat" is inflated and unsubstantiated. It's very SIMPLE to sit on the outside of a situation and say what you could and would do. But until you are in that situation you have no clue. Plain and simple.

  • Dude you need to start doing some research. For one thing even if you want to deny the stat (which is accurate), the problem is EPIDEMIC and yet you'd rather nitpick a stat than address a problem. It's also not about what I'd do or passing judgement. It's about what NEEDS TO BE DONE. The blame game is a losing proposition. It will get you NOWHERE. It might FEEL GOOD but it just like drugs and alcohol it's ultimately SELF-DESTRUCTIVE.

  • Uhh, quite frankly, the only one to blame anyone and point any fingers at the situation has been you. Not once did I say, it's the white mans fault. Not once did I say, it's the government's fault. The only one's assigning blame to anyone has been you. And as far as this Payne fellow is concerned, He DOESN'T speak for the Black community at large. Neither do I. But you won't find me on TV disparaging the very people I descend from just so I can get a pat on the head from people that don't care.

  • And I can research anything I want and have it come out exactly the way I want it to if that's what I chose to do. Reciting "stats" is what the simple do. How many people were involved in the study, what area was studied? How long was the study conducted? What was omitted from the study to get to that number. And like I said before I live and work in these neighborhoods everyday, HOW BOUT YOU?? I don't have to watch TV to know what's going with these kids. HOW BOUT YOU??

  • All you've done from the beginning is pass judgment.

  • What I've done is offered a path to a solution but you of course would prefer to blame and stay stuck in the same old rut. Just keep in mind that while you're waiting for an ENTIRE system to change life is continuosly passing you by.

  • Pull your ASSuming head out of your ass. You have no idea what I'm doing in my community to address the needs of these kids I see EVERY day. While you can sit on YouTube and site statistics and watch DVD's. I'm not waiting on ANYTHING, I'm putting in WORK everyday.

  • what are you doing, telling black kids its ok bc people of other races act like this too?

  • I'm not going to even dignify your ignorance with a response.

  • what ignorance? i know from experience.

  • Why shouldn't we care about Ron Paul. The same clip that was played over and over again was of Wright saying "God Damn America" and the context of that sermon was speaking on America's subversive tactics around the world. AND RON PAUL stated that 9/11 was part of the blowback from those subversive tactics. So it's more than valid. It's hate when it's coming out of the black man's mouth and irrelevant when coming out the mouth of a white man huh? THAT'S RICH!

  • Once again you're losing focus on the problem that we're addressing. We could go back and forth with "What about this one... and that on... and him... and her..." but in the end NOTHING CHANGES. The bottom line is that if you want change in the black community (which it's starting to sound like you don't), then the message has to change from a NEGATIVE BLAMING TONE to a POSITIVE TONE OF PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. It's a VERY simple equation but it's obvious that you'd rather wallow in self-pity.

  • Wallow in self pity??? LOL As someone who works and lives in the Black community everyday, I find it laughable that you could even make that assumption. But OK. since this whole episode start ed did anybody say it was the white mans fault that this happened to Derrion. Not once did anyone say, this isn't a problem that needs to be addressed. But you found it very easy to make this out to be a black community lack of self responsibility issue.

  • Everything is going to be all right soon!

  • Poor kids

  • Wow! talk about putting words in people mouth. This video takes the cake.

  • tits job not sure why your sound got pushed to the end.

  • The bottom line here isn't that a police officer didn't do his job it's that a mob of morons decided to beat down innocent people and had he (if he even existed) ran out there he would have been the target. We also know that had he ran out there and drew his weapon or hit someone with a billy club that HE WOULD HAVE BEEN ACCUSED OF POLICE BRUTALITY AND RACIAL PROFILING.

  • The only observation I have is that the FOX commentary was spot on in that the focus needs to be on individual responsibility as opposed to viewing everything through the lense of "I'm a victim!" The other networks seem to want to focus on BLAMING a police officer as opposed to the idiot who cold conked an innocent bystander with a 2x8. Furthermore we don't even know if there was a police officer nearby and on top of that no one officer should ever run into the middle of a gang fight w/o backup.

  • I don't think anyone is trying to excuse what those kids did to Derrion, But if you are sworn to "Protect" and Serve, then where the hell was the "Protection" for Derrion if the police were at the end of the block and did nothing? If those cops just roll up on the scene really fast with the sirens going, and at least making it appear that authorities were on the way, those kids would have scattered.

  • Remember Hurricane Katrina? Where was the federal aid, during and after? Promises, promises.

We deploy hundreds of soldiers to kill but cannot deploy the same number to save people.

When banks needed help the government spent hundreds of billions. Talk of REINSTATING regulations and job creation -

    Promises, promises

So, why does this happen? US Capitalism is about redistributing to the wealthy 5% that already own 95% of the wealth. Capitalism trumps democracy in the US. Best theory

  • Geez... talk about not being able to stay on topic. Do have ADD?

  • No, I just do not simply everything. We focus way too much on individuals and not enough on systems.
