To those who constantly complain, FYI they were doing a "wing-low" landing, which means that the aircraft is aligned with the rudder and banked into the wind, making the upwind landing gear touch down first. That's why it seems there's no apparent crosswind in this video. It's not crabbed. Boeing pilots usually use this method. In Airbuses it's not recommended.
We "Flying Chefs" do not have cabin- and door-responsabillity so: give the pilots plenty of food and drink and the observers seat is yours for takeoff and landing. ;-)
well i mean you forget one thing most youtubers dont have 40 million to blow on a commercial jet also some have other abilities like me accounting and other kinds of skills but then agian they can save a years income not pay any taxes and not buy food dont pay their bills dont pay the mortgage/rent do not make any car payments and they can have a cessna 172
im a pilot..its a normal landing..sometimes pilot does alignment while approaching the runway just few miles ahead.. it looks to me a normal landing..so cheers :-)

Very nice, Stand on that right rudder, Captain.........

Textbook landing! great approach despite gusts, perfekt timing and coordination of rudders and no unnecessary floating.

Nice landing, but the sound of the propeller in reverse mode is better than the thrust reverser :)

Excellent video! I l love it! Great quality! Keep up the good work!
Just a simple question:
How did you get in the jumpseat? Did you just ask out the pilot?
Please reply!

It's From the right
Not from the left.
See the cockpit.
JustinnnnChannel 2 years ago
It's a left crosswind the wind is coming from their left hand side, that's why right rudder is used to straighten up before touchdown.
Coollimes 2 years ago 3
its from the left.. the nose was pointed to the left on final.

Nice landing!
Seems like the "crab and kick" method would be easier than utilizing a slip the whole way- as they teach for your PPL.
GingBread 2 years ago
That landing was textbook and no one on youtube could do better in their little flight simulators that make them think that they are real pilots.

I didn't see any crosswind type look from inside, looking outside.
Airportchris2 3 years ago
At "10" he kicks the nose a bit to the right to line up.
ut000bs 3 years ago
I see, but could that just be an illusion of the camera moving?
Airportchris2 3 years ago
The way the plane is moving makes it look like a crosswind landing to me.
VV4000 3 years ago
yea, it could be the camera's angle to the runway, or like you said, but idk. Its not a very crosswinded look to me.
