I wish more lecturers would speak in such a manner as Dr. Kieliszewski. Good lecturers can explain anything in their subject to anyone but poor lecturers not so much because they don't know their subject but are inept at conveying the information are a blight in any country! Kind of off topic but who will complain...

I had to do this at University, and I can tell you it is nothing like T.V. Shows or how the movies portray it to be. It is very boring, dry and all based on a theoretical framework which means its practical application generally doesn't work. Almost like Marxism evolving into Communism, if you can understand that.

Psychiatry would be much more interesting than this, however it is harder, you need a medical degree first, work as an intern, then specialize - many years to become qualified.

@LightRevealsDark i personally think mental problem should not be solve by medications, hence Psychologist is always a better option for me. Beside, if you go to med school, why not be a surgeon instead? Clinical Psychologist is as good as Psychiatry, the only thing differentiate them is the right to prescribe that Psychiatry hold. a friend of mind has a bipolar Disorder, went to Psychiatry and the only thing they do is prescribe her with medications, which is not helpful once it runs out.

I want to study Forensic Psychology. I'm an 18 yr. old 2nd year Psychology student but unfortunately we will not go into forensic psych. We're into Industrial, Clinical and Educational Psychology
