A 600 is too big... and crashes will cost too much... each crash will cost 3x the cost of a E-Sky Honeybee FP heli which I learned on. I would suggest at the max a TRex 500 ESP (can be had for $580) since crashes would only be $100 or less.. but you WILL crash.. and a 600 can kill! So can a 500 really...
I spent 6 months on the sim.. then a Honeybee FP.. 1 month to learn how to hover in all orientations... then a blade 400 RTF all last summer (see other vids) then the 500 (haven't flown it)
Im a novice, about to buy my first 'real' heli soon,so at the moment,I only fly my co-axial and practice with simlator while saving money.
Planning to buy a 600 size for my first heli, what do you think, is that insane..lol :D
Mainly because I'm a beginner and bigger size are more stable. I intend to take video and photos with it too. Bigger size is more stable and bit more forgiving. Crashes are very expensive though so makes me think am I on the right track
I don't know.. but even if so.. WHY? Would be absolutely useless for heli training. If you are going to spend $150 on this.. you can afford a read radio. :)
Very good job. Yes Phoenix is very realistic. I use that too for practice, when the weather is too bad outside. Unfortunatley this year it is almost every time raining and stormy here in northern Germany. Very good. I am exciting to see your next real flight.
are the fps still high for a slow pc like mine?
