No it was in self defence, Tony gave Michael a chance to stop and warned him. He didn't listen and continued to come at him with the knife, it was a case of him or me.

Right. As Tony said tp her earlier, "Gibbs told him to leave. I told him to leave.  Perhaps it would carry more weight if it came from you." He went to her apartment to see if she followed up on that directive. She was tragically late and it cost Michael his life. Granted, Michael was a stubborn SOB but it's Ziva's fault as much.

Tony being jealous had little to do with Michael dying.
