  • anyone know the name of the song :) ?

  • Leaving for Oktoberfest tomorrow. Maybe I will be able to repeat this dance!

  • my favorite scene..too

  • Love this scene (and the whole movie). Wherever they were filming, it was cold, you can see the dancers' breath in many shots!

  • Does anyone know the song that's being played? I really like it

  • Following up all the comments about Bavaria and Germany... this scene was actually filmed in Bressanone in Italy, though before World War 1, the town was actually part of the Austrian South-Tyrol and still is a mostly German-speaking town.

  • Some of the first pair of tits I ever saw in life were in this movie!!!! Thank You Chevy!!!

  • Clark Griswald is always a good sport

  • omg every bavarian would get confused if there would be red-white flags on the oktoberfest. bavarians are blue-white and accept red-white only when they're fan of bayern münchen

  • lol the best part of the movie , i just watched it and wanted to see this part again ,,, one of my fav movies as a child

  • hahaha i love the all the "vacation" movies, but let me point something out...

I've lived in Bavaria over 3 months now and...

    A) those red and white flags are for Hessen, the state above Bavaria... and they don't wear lederhosen there. That's the costume of Bavaria, not all of Germany.

    B) There are also Bavarian flags back there... are we in Hessen or Bavaria.

    C) That dance is actually more traditional for Austria, aber trotzdem.

    D) THOSE GLASSES OF BEER ARE WAYYY TOO SMALL. XD

  • Hey, it's STEVE RHOADES (David Garrison) from "Married ... with children" at 2:22 !

  • @Kaiza490 Don't say that! I'm going there in 3 months and hoped it would be exactly like this. I even had my fingers crossed for a "Claudia"

  • lol can someone post the scene, i think where they're staying at that old couples house and he's brushing his teeth in that bowl that they use as a toilet? that's a funny scene.

  • I love this movie since I was a child lol, and Germany always appealed to me. I want to visit many places before I die but Germany has always been on the top of the list. I want to just drink beer all week, real german beer, and laugh and celebrate life with my friends.

  • @SumNJFella You will get this most likely at the Munich Oktoberfest. You might like that...

  • @Cuteblondie1972

He says "Nein, nein, hier herüber", which means "No, no, come over here" in English.

By the way, this scene was filmed in the Austrian (!) town of Rattenberg, not in Bavaria, Germany.

    Greetings from Germany

  • I am going to Berlin in a few days to meet a few German friends - this is how I imagine Berlin (I'm a bad British person....) hahahahahahaha
