  • *i do not ride or own a "bike"* but wouldn't it be possible just to let it run at idle in first and just touch the cloth to the rim as the engine spins the wheel? only two flaws i could see: the exhaust, and the possibility you'd get your hand caught on something and you screw yourself over.... i dunno... would just seem little more easy. and every now and then your voice fades and comes back. you could just wat like 5-ish seconds, aim the camera, and then start and just edit that bit out....

  • @machinegunboy98 never do any cleaning or maintenance with the the engine on and spinning the rear wheel - too many riders lost fingers

  • @rebelyell91 exactly what i thought. i was grinding my teeth at the comment AFTER i had posted it....

  • Wax on, wax off...

  • sorry for what i said

  • god damn you are fuckin chines

  • I just got my bike a few weeks ago, and this is a definitely a good video!!

  • You inspire me. I want to detail the world!

  • instead of driving, couldn't u just dry it with a hairdryer? :P

  • quick question, are tyre cleaners neccessary?

  • Don't drop the cam. hahaha Rockie!!!

  • you have way to much spare time more than me an im 15 :P

  • its a nice video dude.. but i seriously have to ask, why wash it inside the garage? lol

  • @hamphays Some peoples garages are made for that. Mine, for example has a drain and ceiling fans to make washing cars/bikes less of an annoyance.

  • I love your garage man it so spacious.

  • cover the end or your exhaust with a plastic bag and some elastic it will be better

  • Hey just wondering because i actually did this once with my car ( not a good idea) i washed my car, well part of it at least....and i was like hey...how bout i just air dry it ;D so i took it for a quick spin cam back and it was all dusty. wouldnt that be the same with the bike, like now you have hidden dust in your or where your engine is? btw Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Spray works better :D in my opinion at least lol didnt like armor all although i used it for awhile until i found meguiars =)

  • hmmm armor all on the rims.....Dont think i'd personally want to do that cause if it rains it will only add to the slippin and sliding lol

  • how tall do you have to be to fit on this bike well

  • @killzvideos

    Over 9000!!!!!111

  • @killzvideos it doesn't affect the way you ride. All it does it protect your gas tank from your zipper on your jacket, or anything else on you that will scratch your tank.

  • @MrSalenga thanks

  • doe that tank grip help ur riding?

  • Nice try pal BUT U made a couple of mistakes,

    N E V E R use a tire shine on a motorcycle!!

And most waxes are not for ALL surfaces!

U really don't want to put (90% of wax products) wax on the plastic parts!

    Keep it up!

  • @naminseniazei

my wax ( Castrol Bike Polish) is useable on plastic.

  • Maybe try a leaf blower next time.

  • i got a question couldent u just take all the planels off the bike first and wash them on thee own or is it esyer doing it that way

  • I'd say it's MUCH harder to take them off then clean them.........

but I guess it'd be easier to clean.

but it's more of a hassle to take off and put back on

  • I think you like of Billy Idol - rebel yell ;)

  • @rebelyell91 depends if your open to lots of time and a good clean workspace with hangers cuz its soo eaasie to scratch :)

  • @lol3048

I will do that to clean the engine really well once a season, but there is no reason to do that much work every time.

  • what is the little watch that you have in your bike? i've thought about just putting a watch on the handle but someone could take that easily while i'm in school. that one you have looks like it's permenent(spelling?) lol

  • It's just a $7 walmart watch :P it works great

  • @Henegar11 Just glue the watch band together, so people will be less likely to just snatch it real quick, yet you could just cut the watch off later if you need to. :D

  • I understand your new to bikes, But dude you had me laughing my ass off. No insult bro, you have to start somewhere. I know a couple of people that ride the same bike. The best upgrade for that bike, is some better tires. The ones that it comes with are like wood. be safe man. Happy Holidays.

  • thanks man nice video

  • thank you

  • Man you should try living in Ireland, it rains at least 50% of the time, it's cold, damp, windy. Two problems for the bike cleaning... 1) Road dirt sticks to a wet bike, and the water on the road helps lift all the crap up off the road. 2) You can't wash a motorcycle in the rain, even with a garage, you can't dry it properly.

Your bike looks like new man compared to my, I only wash it twice a year if it's luck and ride it all year round. Takes hours to clean it and you lose skin from nuckles

  • "First Person Shooter" With the cleaning spray. Got to remember that one :D

  • 4:01 "i'm using a, a uh *thump*" haha

  • First Person Shoter HAHAHA lol

  • :D!

  • why did you have to take it for a ride?

  • to dry everything off mostly.

  • dude ur so funny lol

  • thanks man :P

  • How long do you think you will be keeping this particular bike since its a 250? Its beautiful though.

  • I have recently decided to keep it for a long time.

not sure how long at this point.

  • does it look big in person so that if i would get one it would look good even if my freinds after a few years have 600cc-1000cc.

  • it looks big as a 250 yes

  • its prolly about 4/5 of a full size motorcycle, if you are on the smaller side it would probably be perfect.

  • I'd agree.

  • If you dropped your bike and scraped up the plastics a little, would you still wash and wax it as often?

  • yep

  • ahaha camera fall lol

  • o wow, you really are asian. thats cool, you sound so american wow haha. thats cool. don't worry, not discriminating, asians are awesome, if i wasn't mexican i would choose to be asian, haha loves the sushi, especially the rice part of it haha

  • lmao sall good. and yes Being asian is awesome :D

  • Hey, we finally get to see some of your face! :) Based on your voice, I expected a blond macho American :D

  • Lmao wow I'm sorry :P

  • No, it's kind of cool, I envision you like a samurai and the Ninja is your blade'o'justice* ^^

*Yes, I'm an Anime fan, lol :D

  • do i have to lube my chain everytime i wash? Also how do I know when its time to lube my chain? I'm new to cycling don't have anybody to show me the ropes.

  • My owner's manual tells me every 400 miles you should.

I do it every other wash.

When you wash the bike, sometimes/ussually you can flush away some of the lube from your chain.

so I like to lube my chain after I wash the bike.

    It's a preference thing

  • oh and another thing, does it make any kind of difference if you use warm or hot or cold water when washing it?

  • I'm sure it doesn't

  • Great vids, but what do u think of the bike all in all, because i am gonne get one soon : )

  • greatttt overall motorcycle

  • WD40 work awesome on rims. Eats the brake dust and chain lube gunk up.

  • FPS with a cleaning spray lol

  • hellz yea

  • @SpacedTime hahahha

  • oh and btw what kind of rear stand is that i need one that will fit my bike.... let me know thanks bro :)

  • it's "T-rex racing"

    it's pretty good.

  • thats awesome dude thanks i appreciate it keep in touch bro

  • dude i so wish i lived in an area like yours cuz then i could ride all the time i live in Shamokin PA and it sucks cuz i have my bike put away for winter...oh yeah lol i have the Kawasaki Ninja 250R same color and all!!

  • nice bro! good choice :D

  • damn skippy i love it

  • Good series!

  • thanks man! :P

  • nice vid! i didn't know you can use armorall on the rim? wats the chain lub you use? ima need to buy some! also should i change my oil when i hit 500 miles?

  • I tried to change my oil at 600, but didn't till 700, everything was fine and dandy.

I don't know the oil I use right now, I'll get back to you on that bro.

and I'm glad you like the vid, ima post up 2 more for this series so stay tuned.

  • for sure! be safe !

  • nice vid. My rear wheel gets super dirty and with the lube on the chain and all so I have to use a scrub brush that's made for car wheels on my bike.

I like that you added your face in this one. Gives your vids a personal feel. Can't wait to see the last one!

  • yeah, I didnt' really Mean to add my face but I was too lazy to edit it out (didn't really want the entire portion of the video blurry)

and I basically when to my Kawi dealer and asked what the most popular street chain lube is and they told me it was good stuff (what I used) and it doesn't make anything dirty.

Thanks for watching yo! I'm always looking forward to your vids (very unique obviously)

  • how often do you clean and lube your chain?

  • I SHOULD do it every 400 miles or so (since I do live in a very dusty and dirty climate) but I do it every other wash. (so about once or twice a month)

  • Depends how much you ride and what conditions you ride in. I ride every single day and rack up tens of thousands of miles each year and swear by Scottoiler automatic chain oilers which put a drop of oil every 30 seconds or so onto the chain while I ride. Once every week or two depending on the weather conditions (rain, snow/salt/grit/mud etc) I clean the chain to get rid of any grit. Do the same and your chain will last maybe 5 times longer then and need adjusting less.

  • so first time i sow your face

  • yeah yeah yeah, I figured it didn't matter :P

  • i wont clean mine bike like that but still not bad :D
