thanks so much Bhavna! I couldn't cook very well before, but thanks to all your recipes I can say that I can definitely make better food now :) You are awesome and all your effort on here is much appreciated!!
You can leave it out or if you use dry, add very small amount, let's say, for 1/4 cup of fresh methi, add only 1 tbsp dry kasoori methi. Hope this helps.
Hi Bhavna, if we cook and freeze chole will it be good fresh? will the skin peeloff if stored? how long can wee store it in freezer? Can we do with rajma also in the same way? please reply..thanx my sister..god bless you...
Hi Bhavna, how to findout if the onion puree is cooked? Is kabuli channa flour is chickpea flour? Simple and nice recipe this is...my family fav...thanx a lots my sister..god bless you and your family..
may i know how u make the ginger and garlic paste this much amout,, i mean is that will lasting or not ,if we make that much amout..? and do we need to add anything extra for it..
Indian curries are spicy but you can always prepare according to your preference. It dosn't have to be spicy. I prepare actually my everyday food very mild just to please my kids and also my in-laws don't eat spicy food.
Oye! bhavna........ Its chana and not chaana. Its not cheak pea..... Its chick pea :-)) hahahaha! and its garbanzo.... not garbanzp. By the way, it has to be "pureed" & NOT "PURED". I cant stop laughing.... oops! Sorry. Take your husband's help - If he knows :-))
Might be. Not sure what type of chana you ate but there different type of chanas are sold on rail station. so if you give me more detail, I will try to help you.
Chole is the first thing i learned to cook when I was 21 years old...everyone in my family LOVES my chole...even my baa who passed away loved them, and she was very particular about what she put in her mouth. Your way looks yummy, with the green peppers and fenugreek, i will try it :) I love puri or bhatura with this, even more than naans...you always make my hungry! :)
That's great to hear and feel sorry to hear about Baa. I like puris, too. I make puris often since my kids love them. Thank you for sharing and keep enjoying. Yes, you should try with at least fenugreek leaves, it brings out real nice flavor. We gujarati tend to use fenugreek leaves a lot.
I see you using heavy cream in many of ur recipes. I too like it, but never am able to use the whole packet. The remaining cream needs to be used in 7 days as per the packet. Do you know how can I store the remaining cream or how can I make it last longer?
I usually pop it into freezer the whole container or fill small baby fruit containers and freeze so whenever I need, I can only take out what I need and defrost in water or microwave. Hope this helps you.
Thank you for your comment. I would love to try your recipe. Actually I make little bit different now at present. When I made video, I know it was little bit twist..but yaa, would love to have your recipe
the taste coulbe little different than usual chhole but bhavna did say in the description that its her version. i know its not one of her best recepes but i love her other recipes. keep it up bhavna. np
Thank you for your support. Yes, the taste might be different but delicious. I think people need to try and taste before writing any comment. But what else can we do...Don't we do different things with many recipes? I do lot of experiments..don't know about others...
Here I go with another Indian tone...I believe nothing is bad...It's just your prefernce whether to add pepper or not...but that doesn't mean whole recipe is bad..I think you might want to think before writing any opinion...Thank you for your comment though...

Hi
You can freeze chhole and Rajma even. When you thaw, do not scrap, just let them defrost at room temperature and they won't peel of skin...enjoy!

simrajain2 2 years ago
Yes, I sometimes do that as well. My kids love potato in almost every dish. Thank you for sharing.
Also sometimes I add shreded or cube hash brown if I am making for more people. Meaning for parties or small get togahter.
