  • Imagine having sex in one of those dorms.

"Why did the light just go out?"

  • It played better than I ever could...

  • nice!

  • nice

  • thats sick

  • epic.

  • Although I'd like to believe this was a matter of people hitting light switches and moving bed sheets....I have a pretty good idea that they used a standard stage light setup using a lightboard.......still pretty cool

  • @andyman1005 aww :( ... what's next you will tell me the tooth fairy doesn't exist?

  • @andyman1005 ...what?

  • nice gameplay :D

    sry for bad english!

  • That was epic!! :))

  • That is totally awesome. Even if it is done by computer.

    ~JazkaStar~

  • Truly truly amazing.

  • HOLY SHIT, MOST EPIC THING EVER

  • 9 people wish they had gone to that college.

  • 9 people wish they had gone to that college.

  • Awesome job :D

  • Damn, it was so much cooler when I thought it was people flipping switches.

  • When I hit Uni next year, im gettin my media buddies and doing this!

  • @toiletpunker really? i'd think it'd be a car where you have the ecm, pcm, ptcm, ecu, or such like it..easier and less wires

  • College money well spent.

  • Amazing. Nuff said.

  • thumbs up if Drunk Tank showed you this

  • this is freaking INCREDIBLE

  • this is the most epic thing i've ever seen

  • VIOLENTO!!

  • amazing

  • How cool!

  • favorited.

  • Polish College in Wroclaw. Not manually controlled, but by computer turning on/off lights in each room.

  • only the japenese could pull of something like this

  • @curryboy7 nope, polish people: )_

  • @curryboy7 Wrocław, Poland.

  • @curryboy7

    not japanese, Polish :)

  • Holy god, that's amazing!

  • That was awesome! The graphics are about as good as they were when I was a kid, but oh, so much bigger. I found myself wishing I was in line waiting for my turn. :)

  • east halls?

  • Parents can rest assured that their kids' college fund is being put to good use.

  • I think this is slightly edited because you can keep seeing glimpses of windows popping up (computer windows), but still, impressive.

  • I saw the PIWO project page and found the setup to be ridiculously "bloated" to say the least. I think they just designed it to get more equipment for their other projects in the future! It's a really stupid design if you have to have a keypad and 16x4 illuminated character display for each room's module. I could hook up all the output signals on just 5 pins (x,y,r,g,b) with a single BASIC stamp! Simple! There's your display hardware. Just get some amplifiers for the lights. Done!

  • That's some dedication

  • one electrician and one computer programmer can get a setup like this with a little bit of time, money, and cooperation from the people who lived there.

  • this is brilliant!!!!! :D

  • LOL @ the high score at the end.

  • obviously it cant be people inside the room operating the light based on timing. the time the lights turn on and off must be computer controlled somehow lol

  • This is awesome!

When I first watched it (friend posted it on facebook) it had collegehumor written all over it

but still... even though its not its still pretty awesome

  • This was done in Poland in Politechnika Wroclawska. This building is dorm for students. Project named P.I.W.O (in polish piwo means beer), was part of entertainment (created by students) at Juwenalia. Juwenalia are a special celebration for students in Poland. For couple of days (every year), students are given keys to the city from the Mayor, and they can do some crazy things.

Project was indeed controlled by a computer.

Search youtube for PIWO 4. It's the latest project.

  • @Deavonere Thanks for the info! Cheers

  • wow, very cool

  • just epic in all scales

  • @JesusSavesRepent: In Sorte Diaboli. See you in hell troll.

  • Bets thing I've seen all week! To the three people who voted this down, you're insane.

  • This was prob done with a computer and attacting it to the dorm light system. Thats my theory

  • yep. That's why we pay to go to college.

  • Muuuuuy al pedo....

  • can't even imagine how much time this must have taken to work out.

  • That's amazing. I can only imagine how they manged to do that.

  • EPIC FREAKING WIN!

  • Freakin' Awesome!!!

  • du talent

  • EPIC

  • Oh, no damn way. O_O Geniuses.

  • don't you love it when people have too much free time

  • that dorm is full of asians

  • I just wanna know how they did that!

  • ... I love it

  • how do people even manage that?

  • holy shit this is amazing

  • I published this video on the Dutch website WELSTIJL (3 may) Kind regards Sem Mallée

  • Everyone on America's got talent can go and suck one now

  • O_O Awesome!

  • holy fucking shit

  • holy SHIT i just jizzed 14 times

  • holy shit, this is amazing

  • How the HECK did they do that?!?

    That was AWESOME!

  • I've always thought it'd be cool to wire an MP3 player up to a doorbell. I don't know how it'd be done, but stuff like this makes me sure it's more than possible.

So, which is more impressive: doing something like this with wiring and computers, or doing something somewhat simpler but with a coordinated mob? I'm not sure, personally.

  • THAT IS SOOOOOO COOL...Its blows my mind...like how do they kow when to turn the light on or off...Perfect...:D

  • DEEEEEAAAAAAMMMMNNNNNNNN

  • /watch?v=ril6OYSKD3A&feature=related

  • absolutely amazing

  • HOW

  • epic winnery!

  • Guys, this is epic! :D

  • @OrlandoSweetie

    Totally. AGREE.

    *_*

  • How!?

  • Wow, so that's why my lights were going on and off that night...

  • haha who's that one asshole that voted dislike! amazing!

  • snake ftw

  • wow. this is amazing

  • asheuahsuaehuahusa omg this is an epic win....

i think its made with timers, cause i never seen hardware to make this in computer

  • oh WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • I've never shit my pants for almost 2 minutes straight before. This proved that it can be done.

  • I have seen something like this before. It works by attaching the lighting system to a computer and making a program that would turn the lights on and off in sequence. Then they put a light in each room that is red. Finally they run the program

  • @Davidtcarp stop it........just stop it. Let us enjoy

  • THAT IS SO AWESOME!

  • OMG this absolute genius!!

  • This has to be in asia.

  • this is just awesome :) i wonder if it was part of some kind of project for marks or just some good ole fashion time wasting :)

  • what school is this?

  • how the hell did they coordinate that?!?!

  • Teamwork at its best. :D

  • F****KING WIN

  • I simply cannot figure out how they did that so perfectly.

  • Man, that's pretty sweet! Epic! I bet they programmed the snake game and made the output into some sort of arduino engine that they proceeded to work on so it'd connect to the dorm's light switches instead of the simple arduino board, but I don't really know all that much about this stuff, so that's just guessing. Cool stuff!!!!

  • THIS IS SO BEYOND AMAZING.

  • Our college dorm never did anything nearly that cool. D:

  • BRILLIANT!!

  • okay, that's just amazing

  • amazing :D

  • xD that. was amazing.

  • Just epic...

  • that's just freaking epic :D

  • i just want to know what the red was. so freaking awesome.

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • they got way too much time on their hands, but pretty awesome nonetheless.

  • That is the most epic thing I have ever seen happen in a college dorm

  • @Warrior536 In my country, people get shagged in college dorms. I think that's a tad more 'epic'. ;)

  • @JasanQuinn In my country, we shag people in the dorms and still do shit like this.

  • @JasanQuinn Oh shagging?! seriously?!! Is that really epic? I think the human race has been doing a fine job of shagging and for longer than dorms have been around.

  • Nice!!!

  • THAT WAS AWESOME! Nicely done and well coordinated.

  • hahaha that was awesome!!!

  • thats nuts. how the fuck did they do that?! lol

  • space invaders would be beast to see

  • this was awesome i wanna see tetris next

  • lolz

  • projekt P.I.W.O rządzi... POLAND rlz

  • THats pretty cool. WHO CARES how its done, its cool, fun and timewasting. EXACTLY how college should be.

    Good on ya peeps!

  • @K00gr ...uh not exactly..time-wasting is not a word, so i know you're not in college & if you think college is all fun & 'time-wasting' then you'll be one of the many people i met my freshman year that drop out because they thought they were there just to have fun & waste time.

  • @TheBraziliantV I'm just saying people in further/higher education need to make time to have some fun! I know me and my mates do; after exams we make giant people-pyramids in celebration! (Ya, we're a bit funny...) Life is hard, especially in these times so people need to lighten up!

Oh, and just so you know; I'm in my final year at college and I'm heading to university later this year. JUST SO YOU KNOW.

  • @K00gr Ah ok I see the cultural difference. I clicked on your profile & saw you were from the UK, so by you saying 'college' I know you mean what for us here in America is known as highschol, after highschool we move on to Uni. But btw, Uni in the US and UK are very distinct, this was probably a project, But in any case of course having fun is important but in your message you made it seem like that was all it was about.

  • @TheBraziliantV Thankyou for seeing the differences in our countries! I personally didn't there was that much of a difference, but honestly; thanks for clearing that up! It amkes alot of sense now I think about it... :)

Thankyou for seeing my point of view!

I do understand that college/highschool and uni are full of SO MUCH HARD WORK and that it takes a vast amount of effort to succeed.

  • @TheBraziliantV Ah, sorry! I used the wrong profile! Silly me... :) I'm LotWPro too. ^_^'"

  • @K00gr yes college should be about playing snake on a building... not learning or anything >_>

  • @bradman3001 believe me, most college school learning doesn't happen at night.

  • @bradman3001 Or maybe this was a project and they happened to have fun while they were learning? Learning by being creative and freaking awesome?

  • @K00gr

Oh I'm sorry that a building sized game of snake is interesting for more reasons than it being a giant game of snake.

  • @K00gr How it's done is by far the most interesting part. If you want to be ignorant, that's fine, but some of us look at something like that and yearn to know how it was done.

  • @thebaudgod I DO wanna know how its done! I was just phrasing it in response to a comment from looooooooooooooong ago!

Do you know how its done? Can you tell me? Does anyone?

I need to know this! We tried it in the ICT rooms with the log on screens. Didn't exactly work...

  • @thebaudgod i think they programmed something and hooked it into the main breaker/control box for the whole building...from there they can simulate

  • nice video, I liked it.. TAKE A MOMENT TO READ SOME OF THESE PPLS COMMENTS... see if you can tell which ones are like, little kids pretending they know something and those who really do know something about how the video was made.. lol

  • reduce reuse recycle bitches

  • @kaisean95 stfu u fucking algore asskiss

  • @somaking it was a joke dumbass troll

  • wtf!

  • P.I.W.O POWER !

  • No its not from C++ its DMX controlled some computer guy connected his laptop

  • yea with dmx color changers probably

  • omg, how do they do that? it would be fun to be in the dorm rooms at that time, like, i wonder when my light is gonna come on. lol

  • @syd453lm I have a book on it. It's called something like electronic projects for the evil genius. It's in my room under tons of crap so I can't get it to find out...

  • titties! and beer!

  • seriosuly, HOW DO THEY DO THAT!!!!!

  • a computer and c++

  • + a bunch of lights in the windows. probably with microchips to control them.

  • I know, it has to be done by computers.

  • Its copying a computer but triggering bigger lights

  • yeah I saw this on the discovery channel. the windows aren't residence windows. People can text and interact with the building from anywhere.

  • this is awesome.

  • I like the college dorm kids!

  • it must have ages

  • awesome :P
