a) Surely by the time you have calculated the angle of depression you could have thrown it and watched it bounce ... and bounce ...

b) Fill it with 1/3 water, 1/3 sugar, and 1/3 wasps. Leave the lid off. THEN throw it :P

If he had thrown it at that angle, the bottle wouldn't even have reached his Mr Greenwood's feet because gravity would pull it down along a parabolic curve. But, yes, that was the angle of depression between them.
