Is it maybe a server sided configuration that allows it?

I got in with my friend but we were attackable and it wasn't hardcore.

@Kleinduddi You are only invincible against the pilots teammates. So if you are the gunner you have to look for your teammates, because they still can kill the chopper.

@NekolaiBaikov they have to ban employes for that. Glitch using is not forbidden and in this case I helped them to fix it because I found it.

I have a Asus G73SW and inside of it a SSD Sata 3. I play BF3 on all ultra settings to the max and have my resolution set to 1080p.

Do you think I'm lagging if I play at those settings even though I have a Nvidia GTX 460m?

@mashed8 Ok, It came with this; Intel i7-2630QM (2.0 GHz Quad-Core with Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz), and I've upgraded the ram to 16 GB of Ram with 1866 Mhz by Kingston. It had 1.5 Dedicated video ram by Nivdia. I also had a SSD that had 500Mb/s of speed.

LOL, the funny thing about the SSD's is that your always first at popping up.

Well those are my specs. Should I continue at "All Ultra" settings and 1920x1080p resolution? Or take it down a notchy.

@TracetheSource This glitch is hardly worth anything seeing as you aren't invincible as you make it seem. It's just a little easier to get kills.

@smoot178 being invincible to the team you are shooting at??? well beside the fact that it is worth nothing and you just make youself and absolute idiot doing this you can just spawnrape the enemy team to death!! just tell your mate to fly over their base and leave the enemy anti-air alive so it takes care of your teammates aircrafts...there you go...if you are not successful than you even suck at glitching, just quit the game...

It doesnt work, Unless there is something else you are not saying. Managed to get in a helo with enemy player, but we were still vulnerable to enemy fire. No, friendly fire was not on.

your basically siting in an enemy chopper which your enemys can´t take down (no friendly fire) but you as gunner can still kill them...your teammates only see an enemy chopper which of course they can take down and that´s probably why you got shot down

I'm surprised they didn't fix this yet, they fixed it where the TV missile doesn't hit the heli, but not that you "are the missile" while you fire it.

Great video. I've had this happen where I've fired a TV missile and someone spawned in my seat while the missile feed was going. Annoying.

@Mugrs People will use this glitch with friends, and you will have a heli flying about killing you and you will not be able to shoot it down. That's the problem...
