i was with you when you were making channels for water to run through to feed the sugar cane and catch the cut offs. then you tried so hard to pour the water over the outside of it and miss the channels you dug completely and you lost me..what was the point of even digging channels if youre just gonna cover then up and not use them? where does the sugar cane go? explain!!!

@Mar9448 Mar9448, try watching the demostartion of the project. It helps a lot. You place sugar canes where the water runs, obviously with the water stopped, and do like 2 steps backwards.

@Mar9448 if i understand correctly, you put it on the grass between the glass covered channels. you keep the top water blocked off until you are ready to harvest. when you release it, it will carry the sugar cane to the bottom of the hill. in theory anyway, ive never built this. my own sugar cane farm is piston based
