@93seanwalker yeah, that's what I'm using it for here. You can also use it for pitch bend in scratch mode if you only touch the side of the jogwheel, just like a CDJ
Nice mix mate! I love a bit of D'n'B. I'm going to get myself a set of these, and was wondering about the looping, can you do a seamless loop, and also, I watched ellaskins doing some loops, and I noticed that it goes straight into the loop after you've done it, is there any way that you can continue the song immediately after the loop has finished?
@djcube456 you can trim your loop after you've set it to get it nice and tight, I usually prefer to just redo it if it's aout though, but then i don't use loops all that much. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your second question, the way the looping works is pretty much exactly the same as on CDJs, with the addition of cue points that you can save onto the memo buttons and hit them to start playback from the set point
They feel pretty solid, jogwheels and pitch faders feel really nice and so do the play/cue buttons.
I mix dubstep and drum and bass with them and they do the job fine, but the BPM counter is hopeless so you'll have to make do without, which is no big deal really.
They suffer from some very minor (barely noticeable) sound glitches when using CD-Rs (might be ok when burned slower, idk) but sound great with USB drives.
@BelgianJungleSound the problem with folder navigation is that it only seems to recognise 1 level of folders, ie, if you have subfolders they just come up as folders in the main directory. It can be a bit of a pain to navigate but easily solved with a bit of organisation and writing down the tracks on paper. I also had a problem with 1 folder that had a lot of songs in it (about 70) and the it was too much for the player to handle and just gave up playing any tracks in that folder
@BelgianJungleSound they're FAT i think, i've heard there can be problems with NTFS formatted drives. Overall though these players are brilliant for the price, the USB problems are very minor considering how good they are for so cheap :)
@tojwonkle just got them today and i love them sac=ve fo two things: folder navigation and it wont recognise ;y HDDs :'( i bought them especially for that purpose. But anyway, im sure ill get the hard drives to work :)
I had to get a mac to run Logic for my university course, but when you've used OSX for a bit you don't want to go back to boring windows... but this is completely off topic lol
can you use the jogwheel as a pitch bend when it's not in scratch mode?

@jmez07 mainly just iTunes or Juno Download. I convert all my iTunes files to mp3 but it's worth the effort cos they're cheaper than everywhere else

@djscottdog1 er, as far as I know there isn't an M8, the M4 is the highest the current M series goes

@tojwonkle thanks, i was starting to really worry that i'd made a bad choice, but as you say its so cheap it doesn't really matter :)

@tojwonkle *shudder*
