I am about to buy a 2010 Xterra. Thanks for the video. Is the necessary wiring already set up in the Xterra, or is this an additional part of the hitch modification?

The wiring needed depends on whether the Xterra has a tow package. Go to our site and put in your year, make and model, then choose custom wiring. You'll see 2 options, 119176KIT & 118399. 119176KIT is needed if you don't have the tow package. If you can find a connector like the one in 118399 under the vehicle on the drivers side behind the bumper, test all the pins for function, especially running lights. If you have the 4 main light functions, you have the tow package and need part 118399.

@Arielmoses No drilling is required to install this hitch, or any of the hitches we offer for the Xterra. They are custom fit to you vehicle and designed to attach to existing holes in your vehicle frame.
