That is Bob Wall, a Karate expert as is Chuck Norris who also appears in this film, the way of the daragon. Both stated they were students of Bruce at that time, you may have read different in later years.

This particular fight, for me, is one of too best fight sequences ever made, the second being the Norris fight. Later fights were slowed down so that the audience were able watch and "believe" what was reallity. Both these fights showed Bruce's true speed and ability.
