For example, there is a part that says don't come to prayer intoxicated, then a later revelation ordered us to leave intoxicants all together. the ayat about the non-muslims entering heaven (2:62) was abrogated by (3:85)...the former verse refers to the sabians, jews, and christians who were around before prophet muhammad(p)
