Taxes on business, capital or income is totally anti-American. They do nothing but give Congress carte blanche on the people's wealth. As long as our elected leaders can take whatever they want from us without our permission or approval, they have no incentive to respect our rights or consider our best interests, but have every incentive and opportunity to exploit us for their own interests. Please, support the Fair tax.

Yeah, I think anything would be better than what we have, but I'd still like to see changes made by someone who truly looks out for the American people, not their special interests. It's like even the best ideas seem to be soiled once they come in contact with slimy politicians on both sides!
I love Ron Paul's ideas, but frankly I think they may be too extreme for most Americans to deal with. A simple flat tax I believe would eliminate the many loop hole's lawyers and accountants use to help the rich get out of paying their taxes in the first place. How would that favor the rich? It would also ease the paperwork for every individual and government. Sound like saving money? We could still make ammendments to it to ease burdens on families, esp those w/low incomes.

The FAIR TAX eliminates the IRS and prevents the tax on your income. The Income tax is then replaced with a 23% sales tax. Why not vote for Ron Paul, Ron PAUL WANTS TO REPLACE THE IRS WITH NOTHING. GO AHEAD DO YOUR RESEARCH.

The Flat Tax would be a simple rate that would replace the hundreds of pages of tax code that allows people to use lots of loop holes to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. But, it could also end up forcing poorer people to actually pay more. I think it all depends on how it's done, but there's a lot of arguments for and against it.

Yeah, when it comes to the government and taxes, they are getting something for nothing and no matter how much they take it's never enough for them!
Anyway, our current system is so complex, convoluted and illogical that just about any change would be for the better!
