ok, i'm done being lazy.... i gotta transfer and upload jerry turner tribute......... i sure hope whatever machine i obtain will do the job properly.... (original machine was a craptastical zenith from the 80s.) yep, i can't be half-assedly about this no longer. for shame on myself :( wish me luck... then we can compendium this along with al sanders.... i just hoped someone else had the JT broadcast, ???, yep, there it is. :D thanks again, sorry! forgive my inabilities.

I'm 26 y/o and I can say that I remember Al Sanders, but not as well as many of the faithful WJZ viewers though. I also remember, very well, the news of Al Sanders' passing. That was a sad day in Baltimore history. Everyone in the newsroom took it hard, and I remember Denise Koch being unable to get through her words, because it was such a great loss. I can say that I believe Al Sanders still lives through all of the newscasters!

i have the jerry turner tribute.. i really, really should put it on DVD... vhs can't last forever... would be a shame to lose it. i never recorded this one.. i should have also.

I remember this faintly. That was a sad day Al Sanders died. He was one of the greatest news anchors WJZ ever had.
