i use amd, but i have used intel, amd is cheaper, and thats the only reason they have such economic headway on intel. intel outperforms per dollar, but amd is significantly cheaper for the same frequency and multicore

actually, the i5 was the first intel in a long time to offer more performance at the same price range. before the i5 it was amd's game for best for its price. intel does make the top best mac daddy of processors.

amd is definitely cheaper and I have used amd since the old "amd family" processors, old 1ghz. the computer i had before that was intel. But now, amd is stepping up. I mean look at those 5000 series gfx. fantastic technology. amd is stepping up its game.

Actually, it is exactly the other way around. The environment in which the silicon processor dies are made in needs to be ridiculously clean. The suits and masks the other employees wear are to stop particles from their breathe or their skin contaminating the silicon.
