I prefer dry sifting since it reserves more flavor. And you can get full-melt from dry sifting...just need different screens or attachments (if you use an automatic tumbler).

If Mark is in the vid, it's most likely in Canada. Hand presses are nice and simple but there are drawbacks. The pressing pistons don't perfectly match with the Internal Diameter of the presser body. The one I have has a bit of a gap like theirs. Gaps will make the disk have that little bit where it leaks and doesn't press. I use two pennies to fix this One for each side They cover up the gaps and hash comes out perfect. If you press hard enough with pennies, you will see Lincoln on your hash.

basically once all the buds are gone you are left with skuff, all the parts you dont smoke. yes you can use all the skuff to make hash, thats what i do with the trimmings after a harvest.
