@DeathIzurfriend quarks and even more sub sub atomic particles are made of different energies, etc. Essentially everything is energy, which obeys that energy cannot be created or destroyed. Take a look at particle physics and you'll be blown away :p
this is probably real its done by taking a series of images at various levels of zoom using a TEM, the most advanced of which have resolutions of 0.5nm. Electrons are used rather than photons for imaging. Atomic resolution was achieved since the sixties using STM
Well, you were right. However, some of the images are take from a SEM. Today's TEM can have resolution up to 70pm that is 0.7 Ångström. cool stuff indeed.
i dunno man, something says fake to me... like its clear until the darkness then fuzzy until the perlite, then super clear again and then fuzzy, and then the "Atoms" kinda fade in, could have been photshoped... can we have a scientist opinion?
great!!!!!!! excellent !!! thanks a lotttt !!!!!!!!!!!grazie tantissimo!!!!!! I always wanted to know and see the atomic structure of steel !!!!!!!!!!! thank you thousands of time for sharing this one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These are literally the coolest videos ever

why can we see the atoms in steel but not in the other videos about skin and plants? is this just a better microscope?

fake!!!!

@Indrit18
I don't think it was intended to be a real thing
it's computer generated because i doubt you could get a video that clear of that magnification, let alone that you can't "see" atoms using photons
The narrator never states it's real
bogdan1231 1 year ago
@bogdan1231 It seems a bit stupid that despite it not being a real picture they couldn't of gone and shown the quarks as well.
9hello123 1 year ago
@9hello123 Are you sure it's not real? There are electromagnetic microscopes out there that can get down to a resolution below 10 nm.

Atoms blow my mind.

I wish microscopes was as popular as telephones, so that we could have them cheaper. Instead now we have to be freaken millionairs to afford one :(

Too bad this is a PM gear (powder metallurgy) - this guy should have a real metallurgist review this poor script

Amazing @ 3:00. To think that all of us are made up of billions of tiny dots.

not dots, probability waves

@detibry weren't both true ?

@ktxed yes but the behaviors described by the wave perspective is most apparent at this scale.

@HigherPlanes Trillions.

@HigherPlanes and then those tiny dots are made up of 3 particles.. And then 2 of those 3 particles are made up of another 6 particles.

It's not computer fixed, that's how zooming on an electron microscope looks like
