  • US vows nuclear war on China

    youtube.com/watch?v=rHEduTRk2Lg

  • REPUBLICAN BRAND HIJACK FOR RANSOM BY FAR RIGHT

  • hey Keith, go back and check on Travis Childers now...he lost by 15%...and a 21 year democrat in another 'republican' district lost to a local guy by 5%...in a district the Democrat usually ran unopposed or won by 20%.

you should have plenty of time to look this stuff up now. and it wasn't 'race baiting.' how closed minded or seperated from reality are you to turn any opposition to a candidate as 'racial.'

  • @KEV8551 ... only because the Republicans have been focusing on sabotaging EVERYTHING Obama was doing, and Obama caved.Result: The Republican voters were enthusiastic, and the Dem voters stayed home.

  • @dangerouslytalented that's a good talking point.

the Dems had the majority in the House, 60 votes in the senate, and the presidency...they could have passed whatever they wanted...and they did...see Obama-care, etc. not to mention $1.3 trillion a year deficits.

thing is, those issues are against the majority of the country...the dems pushed Indies to the republicans. they went too far to the left, and the voters responded. we're still a center - right country.

  • @KEV8551 They did NOT go too far to the left. The people wanted MORE by the way of health care reform. They wanted MORE accountability over the banks. MORE taxes on the wealthy.

  • @dangerouslytalented well, i guess the public changed their minds.

60% think that the Healthcare Law needs to be repealed. 63 Democrats in the House of Representatives lost their seats after they had their will with the legislative agenda ( dems had majority in the House and 60+ votes in the Senate...filibuster proof ).

so, i guess, as i said, the public changed their minds. they interpretted a 52% vote as a mandate. their agenda runs about 65% negative in most polls.

  • @KEV8551 Some think the healthcare law needs to be repealed because there should be no healthcare laws, but a LOT of people think that the American healthcare law was not extensive ENOUGH. There is no single payer in there, not even a public option. Plus the Dems had ONLY 60 votes in the Senate (until Kennedy died) which meant ANY dissent within the Democratic party suddenly allowed for the threat of filibuster (and the house rules at the time said that a threat of filibuster was good enough).

  • @dangerouslytalented the Dems had the majority, and pushed it, despite much evidence that the public didn't want it.

rasmussen and ABC have polls showing support for current healthcare law well below 50%...closer to 40%. independents reject the public option by a significant majority.

after they passed their agenda, the Dems lost power by a large margin and a large voter turnout for a mid term election.

bottom line, the public rejected their policies.

  • @KEV8551 Again, that is nearly 50% even though those on the left WANTED MORE THAN WHAT WAS ON OFFER. There was a sizeable number of people who hated it because it gave the health insurance companies WAY too much.

  • @dangerouslytalented no, the current repeal numbers are 60% - 40% to repeal. the single payer support is in the 40's with those against also in the 40's...but with against having the majority.

if people start looking at the Canadian system...the British system, where you have to get on waiting list for dentist and family physicians...those numbers go down further.

the mid term vote was about a government running up $1.3 trillion deficits, year in, year out.

    it can't be maintained..

  • @KEV8551 Strange,do you know how long I have to wait to see the doctor when I make an appointment? Usually a couple of days. Unless it is particularly busy. And if I have a toothache, the dentist will put it in his schedule My mother was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago, and that afternoon she was recieving her first treatment. And that is without using the private health insurance option. Waiting lists are for non urgent surgery and the like, and if you go private you are not subject to them

  • @dangerouslytalented And the deficits were being controlled under Clinton, the government was running a surplus, and paying off debt... The deficits were caused by Bush... the spending on two wars AND the tax cuts for the wealthy basically MORE THAN spent that surplus, and banking deregulation and underregulation caused the banking collapse which destroyed the governments coffers even further. Bush left a LOT of his government debt off the books. Obama put that debt ON the books for all to see.

  • @dangerouslytalented uh, go check the stats...the tax cuts didn't cause deficits...revenue grew under bush. within 2 years it was almost doubled. i'd have to look up the original stats but we do this one in class all the time. the Bush tax cuts didn't hurt revenue.

i agree, however, that Bush spent too much money. as for the deficits under bush, they were shrinking every year after '04 i believe, about $100billion in '07, then up to $400billion in '08. Obama's have all been trillions.

  • @KEV8551 Revenue didn't grow enough under Bush to justify the tax cuts. He left a MASSIVE amount of money off the books.Bush was fiddling the books massively.

  • @dangerouslytalented glad to hear about you and your mom's prompt medical care. it goes against the averages in Canada...maybe you know someone.

here's some research on Canadian and British waits...much longer than the US, and deadly in cancer situations. i'll be praying for your mom, seriously.

    nationalpost. com/m/story. html?id=1709117

    - 18 week average wait times

    -7 weeks for cancer

-9 hiours to be seen in the emergency room, 23 to be admitted in the emergency room

    more coming

  • @KEV8551 That report is using deliberately misleading statistics. That is not including the private system in canada (canada has a private option, like most nations with universal healthcare) and the private system in Canada is not subject to such long waiting times. This is the BARE minimum in Canada, which you are comparing with the AVERAGE for America.

  • @dangerouslytalented here is a video about the canadian system

-quoting canadian doctors, one of which has written a book on how more 'capitalism' should be introduced to the canadian system.

-town citizens being picked out of a hat to be put on a doctor's patient list.

  • @dangerouslytalented last one...this shows the cancer survival rates in the US vs most of the EU. there isn't one category that the US is behind in.

why? because there is money in medicine in the US...greedy ( evil ) drug companies and doctors know they'll be set if they can do it, or just extend life...SO...they all go out searching for the cure.

less profit in a socialized system, less 'treasure seekers.'

    mjperry.blogspot. com/2009/08/us-vs-europe-life-expectancy-and-cancer. html

  • @KEV8551 That is because hospitals in America are including benign tumors in their statistics (many benign tumors are never life threatening). Drug companies WORLDWIDE are actively looking for new cancer treatments. Plus the american statistic does not include people who never got diagnosed with cancer. But if you look at the overall statistics, you will find that infant mortality is about a par with communist CUBA in the US, and life expectancy is much lower too.

  • @dangerouslytalented check those stats. those sites were CANCER patients who'd been CANCER free for 5 years...that's why they're called Five Year SURVIVOR rates.

but, you're correct about all the diagnostic stuff. there is more access to that in the US, and with cancer, that is a major factor.

the Infant Mortality rate in the US and Cuba is 6 / 1000. it's 5 / 1000 in Canada. we have 10 times the population.

  • @KEV8551 If you treat a cancer patient with a minor form of cancer which is normally undetected then of COURSE they will survive. America has thousands more very expensive and profitable MRIs for doing JUST that.

And having 10 times the population is not ANY excuse to have a higher infant mortality. In fact, it should be LOWER, because of the economy of scale. But costs are MUCH higher overall, as are infant deaths and medical bankruptcies which are UNHEARD of outside the US.

  • @dangerouslytalented dangerouslytalented said, "If you treat a cancer patient with a minor form of cancer which is normally undetected then of COURSE they will survive. America has thousands more very expensive and profitable MRIs for doing JUST that."

thanks for admitting that. THAT is the point i was making. a profit driven system creates benefits for all and drives towards better care through competition. we get the disease earlier, and more people survive.

  • @dangerouslytalented did you know that each country has a differing definition for a 'live birth?'

in Switzerland a child not 30 inches long doesn't count. a 'premey' more likely to not survive wouldn't count. there are others just as weird.

the stat doesn't measure apples to apples...but let's say i cede you the point.

there are things besides 'healthcare' that cause high infant mortality, such as single parent homes...the US has many more, which is a deficit, but not in medicine.

  • @dangerouslytalented the sites for the waiting times in Canada and Britain are plentiful. you say it's not the whole average...i say "why would they call it an average, on multiple sites, if tt isn't?"

i think it's more likely that you have your informaton wrong, than all of these sources do.

  • @KEV8551 Not for all.... The ones that are too poor for MRIs are FAR more likely to die without being diagnosed. And many many others will be bankrupted by the cost of treatment.

The sites for the waiting times in Canada and Britain are very misleading. They are only covering items that are nonurgent, and comparing the BAREST MINIMUM in Britain and Canada's public system with what happens for the INSURED in the US. Reverse this, and you get a VERY different picture,

  • @dangerouslytalented IF...you have people too 'poor' for MRI's...( most do get the service...paid for by the government...they just have to wait...imagine that )...WHERE is the larger amount of deaths caused by cancer in the US?

the evidence isnt there. MOST people are covered, and those who aren't get services, paid for by the govenrment, which is why the states are going bankrupt.

when you research something, do the FULL research...it tells he FULL story.

  • @KEV8551 the site on the '30 inch birth' and birthrate being a misleading stat fo the healthcare system, if you care to read.

    nationalcenter. org/NPA547 ComparativeHealth. html

i find it hard to believe that the MANY sites i've found don't measure close to the same stats on the waiting times in Canada / Britain vs the US...the telling statistic is the number of 'single payer' countries introducing PRIVATE reforms to their current systems.

  • hey Keith, go back and check on Travis Childers now...he lost by 15%...and a 21 year democrat in another 'republican' district lost to a local guy by 5%...in a district the Democrat usually ran unopposed or won by 20%.

  • Did you guys know that barack obama was a toilet baby like on those I didn't know I was pregnant shows?

  • You guys are so fucking retarded it's even kind of fun to toy with your pathetic little minds and what you....act like little chimps...and spit out your indoctrinated responses... ("These are the books that JERRY~ gives to me!")LOL

Matthews was a putz... And now he's a dead putz...

    Move on..

Olbermeyer is a putz too.... Hoping he dies soon.... LOL

  • you're the little monkey that runs in the streets of Washington (mostly rednecks) because a dork on TV told you to do so.

HA HA HA HA HA HA what a bunch of morons....

  • We don't parch in the streets like little monkeys because some retarded freak named glenn beck told us to, who's the chimp ? you are, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

  • @ASentinel2

    Hi idiot, Mathews LIVES!

  • @mindoermatta lives in your mothers vaginal juices perhaps?

Maybe he swung by your mom's just before he passed and pumped your parents?

I dunno but sounds pretty nasty to me?

Enjoy your "mind or matter" (from your comment I think it's "matter" is probably excrement)

  • Who cares? Dead guy on video.... He was a retard when he was alive and now he's a dead retard on video that's dead...

    Laughing.....

  • You really don't know what you're talking about do you?

  • bush jr. destroyed the republican party

  • actually it was more chenney than bush, but yeah anyway.

  • "These are the books that Jerry gives to me!"

    LOL

  • Like Kennedy, Dead guy in a box...Good riddence...

And what's Olbermeyer doing on here?

He used to call Tennis Matches for ESPN and now what...Oh he's "political"?

What like Tony Montanna? Or like the maid in "Down And Out in Beverly Hills" after she gets fucked...

  • A Sentinel2: "And? what's Olbermeyer doing on here?

He used to call Tennis Matches for ESPN .."

Bill O'Reilly started out as tabloid news show host. At least as a sports caster, you have to have pretty good knowledge of players past record and team strategies and such.

What kind of talent, knowledge a tabloid news host needs? I can't think of any. Can you?

  • thats really weak man

  • Hitler was a painter and Harrison ford worked in constructions, what's your point ?

  • theliberalparis: "Hitler was a painter ..."

    That was my point.

Look at the comment I was responding to.

  • Ahhhhh, nice to know obama is doing a pretty good job of tarnishing all that momentum the democrats had a few months ago. Hey obama, you can only fake it so long.....

  • Dear god people, look at yourselves! Obama won, McCain lost, the election is over, yet we still feud over Republicans V. Democrats and spew such seething hate and scream such filth at each other, judging people we don't know because of their affiliation without knowing who they are.

  • Republicans are a bunch of ignorant malcontents, who can be worked into a frenzy about anything. They simply can't live with the reality that they lost the election so badly. Their desperation has lead them to look increasingly insane. Their divorce from reality and retreat into the political netherland of subjective hate and fear, runs counter to the direction of the conciousness of our country. These Palinesque optics will lead them to a major defeat in 2010 and 2012. Life is beautiful.

  • how exactly do you polish the Republican turd? Is it a turd or a steaming pile? Either way the American people aren't interested.

  • If the GOP becomes more like Ron Paul's version of Republicanism, they will stomp the fuck out of Democrats, in due time.

  • It would take some time; doesn't happen immediately. Problem: When Ron Paul debated with numerous 2008 contenders from his same party, they laughed at him saying we need to end the war in Iraq. That's how dumb the big shakers are in the Republican Party. Dumb as a box of rocks!

  • Damn. Hucklebee's a beast. I think I'm falling in love with him...

    (Still hate Republicans, but still.)

  • how come nobody is complaining about evil oil companies anymore? Wasn't this mortgage crisis created by a bunch of Democrats? Do you people have any common sense? Do you understand what happens during a recession? Bad business fails and good business survives.. it's what keeps a nation healthy.. bailouts are a horrible idea! wake up people! this stimulus plan is just paying the special interest groups that help liberals get power.

  • "Bad business fails and good business survives. it's what keeps a nation healthy."

I'll grant you that, but what about the 30 million starving people waiting for those better businesses to expand and hire them? Obama's plan gives them paid jobs in the meantime, as well as extends unemployment aid. Aren't those good things?

(Also, yeah, the democrats AND republicans wanted to see 78% of Americans owning homes by 2000, so they set it up so that they could go wild.)

  • i dunno what this asswipes blabbbering about, but re-poop-lick sounds like toilet brand LoL XDDD

  • IMPEACH GEORGE BUSH

  • The country and middle class cannot afford the republicans again right now. America needs to prioritize internal problems or we will be too poor to fight Russia

  • Americans have no fight with Russia.

  • Have you heard a conference where Obama says that USA has 57 states? imagine when he is 71y/o , will he know where is USA on the map?

  • The Demos have had control for 2 years, the country is in much worse shape than it was when they started.

  • nice try retard. ALL of this mess belongs to repugnicans. Your illiterate leader and his fascist henchmen are solely to blame. Who lied about Iraq? etc.etc.etc. The maniac Bush would only veto congress anyway. 8 years of pure hell will soon be over. Why do right-wingers love war and killing so much and hate the environment?

  • hey look... demashits... see i can make fun with another name as well

  • Exactly 2 years and the country is in the toilet. But during all this time Olbermann is still a tool of the Dumocrapic Party... ok so he's just a tool

  • please remember your parents were democratic and were pro war and pro hating the environment... remember the 1960s and Vietnam... democrats... remember WWII... democrats... remember the federal reserve and income tax, destroying the fabric of our Constitution... democrats... remember WWI... democrats...

  • "remember WWI... democrats..."

Yes, that's correct. The republicans supported Hitler, until Pearl Harbor forced them to shut up.

  • and the democrats and rockefeller supplied Hitler with his fuel for his warplanes...

we could do this all night i bet... both sides are to blame...

  • Oh yes, the oil barons and the Rockefellers, well-known liberal Democrats. That's really stupid.

Only the republicans agreed with Hitler's philosophy.

  • WTF was that??

Oh yeah, I forgot you were a conservative.

  • Actually, the Republicans have stood in the way of a record number of legislation. Legislation that has had overwhelming majority support among the American people. The Senate Republicans have SHATTERED the filibuster record by leaps and bounds. The Democrats stood in the way of Republican legislation that the majority of Americans were strongly opposed to. Republicans now stand in the way of Democratic legislation that the majority of Americans strongly favor.

  • Here's a question. Why is it that we are loosing faith in Republicans only? Yes, W is the President, but Congress is primarily Democrat. And the aproval ratings for congress is below that of the president. Shouldn't we be loosing faith in BOTH parties? We need more than 2 bad choices. Look into Bob Barr.

  • Republicans deserve this for a long time. It's time for a third party. The Republican party should collapse and we need more than 2 parties in this country.

  • The republican party is in the toilet because republicans are turds.

  • Bush won Mississippi by 25% in 2004.

  • John Mcain is a terrible choice for president. I don't care that he was in the military, that doesn't make him qualified to be the president. I have a bad feeling John Mcain will be the nominee because the election process is untrustworthy.

  • McCain is only chance GOP has in 2008 and McCain wins it will be by 20 electoral votes, and GOP needs to readjust the platform period. Anti-immigrant wing of the GOP needs little reality check. Without Lation vote in the west the GOP will not win elections.

  • If amnesty becomes a real thing, the entire makeup of politics will shift in a shitty direction. Look at the politics of Mexico. What the fuck? Things have gotten out of hand. Fuckin' send those illegals ALL back to Mexico.

  • Ok, I just asked someone where I can find one, and they said look in the adult toy stores, especially in black neighborhoods. They said blacks use them for an anal vibrator.

  • I've been looking for this talking bobblehead they call an olbermann, but can't find one. Maybe I should look in the cheap stores.

  • typical right wing nincompoop. I can understand the morons that cant seem to grasp with the facts of reality. But its fucking republican spin masters like you i cant stand. Unlike you, olbermann is not making things up, he is merely reporting about facts on the ground. Be kind to yourself and try to exercise your braincells.

  • do not confuse republicans with neocons... they have fucking ruined our good name...

  • Republicans have not had a good name since they were the party of northern liberals, opposed to the southern conservative Democrats. You have to go almost all the way back to Abe Lincoln's day for that.

Times change. But republicans have sucked at least since Warren Harding.

  • Thats whay McCain is the Republican candidate, this time we want a diferent point of view from the Republican party, and McCain is a refreshing new point of view. Of course his opinions about war will be always a core Republican issue where most republican agree.

  • McCain is a fresh point of view to Republicanism in much the same way as a fart is a breath of fresh air in a sewer.

  • "McCain is a refreshing new point of view"

Wow, that's the most delusional statement I've heard in years.

  • It seems you dont read much newspaper lately, McCain has his strong differences with Bush, on the other side Obama has the same ideas about the management of the oil industry that Bush has, one of the reasons why I dont eat that stupid "change" slogan. Reading will help you.

  • "It seems you dont read much newspaper lately"

On the rare occasions that I can find one that's not owned by Rupert Murdoch, I read it.

Obama was not my first choice, but he's light-years ahead of any scumpublican. He's got my vote.

  • Ron Paul trumps them all.. he should be the nomination and should be having the majority of votes in polls if Americans actually used their brains and wanted real change.

  • If Ron Paul hadn't been a corporatist, I might have supported him. But he is, and I won't.

  • "He's got my vote."

After FISA, death penalty, etc. etc., I am reconsidering.

  • @yt5454 Hows that vote working for you now, still happy with the program?

  • "McCain has his strong differences with Bush"

    Uh, sure he does.

Maybe over who gets on top. Other than that, there isn't much. Certainly nothing of substance.

Vote for McCain if you want a third term for George Bush.

  • Nonsense, the reason why this democrat won in Missisipi is because of the large black population and a link with Obama, a very popular black candidate they never had and the reason why they never won in the past.
