Damn it feels good to be a student Never had money so my spending isn't prudent i work for myself, I don't gotta do favors No pressure, I'll worry 'bout my major later Party 3 days, go to class for 4 My roommate and his girlfriend are in my dorm So I gotta wait till they walk out the door From outside it sounds like they're rolling on the floor My first semester was a drinking binge September to December, stock the mini-fridge I can't hardly remember what the F%*$ I did...
First of what the fuck do world currencies have to do with anything in this discussion?
Secondly your example makes no sense the big time exporting helps their citizens domestically in the first place. It's the same goal.
Germany is the world's biggest exporter FYI.
Tell me why are you flaunting your e-degree on the internet again? It's of little use if you deflate it with ignorant comments. Also being an arrogant prick would make sure your career will go nowhere.
LOL! Penn State?! HAHAHAHA You will get laughed out of the bank with a Penn State TTT degree. You have no idea what kind of caliber of people you're competing with. LOL @ Penn State! HAHAHA

bankers are just as much slaves to capitalism as the rest of us, the real scum of the earth are conservatives in congress who seek to divert the people's rightful anger on the rich instead of the system that made them rich and made the rest of the world poor. capitalism is the greatest evil the world has ever seen
To hate the rich seems silly. Its immature to hate anyone to start with but seems odd to hate something you want to become. "I hate rockstars, I cant wait to be one"
People were rich and poor before Capitalism so its not the cause of poverty, nor is it the cause of wealth. Capitalism rewards work, while other systems dont. NO system is perfect, But I would rather live under a system where I have an effect on my wealth instead of it being Gov. Controlled. imho
all systems have the same basic principals, just some systems focus more on one principal than another. In every system you are rewarded for your work, it just depends on location and opportunity. The same and it will always be the same. Tell that to someone in a 3 world economy. They work hard and they don't get anything, they support us. If we structure the world on a marco level it is no different principally than fuedalism.
dude, i could write such a better parody than this, check out my hey there chlamydia parody of hey there delilah, hald the lyrics dont even go with the original beat, its just pushed in and it has the same beat, i give 2 stars, i was disappointed with this
i would like to question your fundamental assumption that mbas belong to the educated lot, from what i have experienced they are only educated in using and coining jargons.. the mba system is purely vocational...all they do is mug up those occasional formulae, no conceptual orientation whatsoever...physicists, mathematicians and economists seem to be the right kind of people for running Wall St
Depends on the MBA program. The vast majority are worthless. The more prestigious ones (ie the ones that have competitive entry standards) are better. They usually combine at least some eocnomics and math. I'm not denying that someone with a masters in either of those would be better, though. Don't think I'm trying to defend myself either - I'm working on a BS in math and another in finance, and I plan on going the PhD route.
same here. I'm working on a BS in Finance and Economics, then lan to go down a PhD route myself. I think an MBA from Harvard, NYU, Columbia, Stanford etc- the Top 10- Ivy League schools are worth it, but yes, I would say that if, right out of an MBA school, u wanna get into top tiers like Goldman Sachs, you MUST, MUST get into those Ivy League schools
Only 4 of the top 10 are Ivy League. Also, you can get top jobs out of the top 20schools but the higher the ranking, generally the easier it is. Furthermore, this is also dependant on what you want to do and where you want to work. You can get a job at Goldman out of SMU, but that doesn't necessarily make it a top job.
Finally, I would just like to point out the irony of your post considering the fact that you will be pursuing a PHD...LoL.
I didn't go to SMU douche. I went to a top program but a simple google search of Goldman SMU will unearth SMU alumni that have been partners at Goldman as well as SMU students who have worked/interned with Goldman.
The fact that you think working for Goldman is highly coveted by top MBAs tells me that you have not attended a top program.
