  • Budgie wrote Breadfan. The track was on their 1973 album "Never Turn Your Back On A Friend" and Metallica covered it in 1988 !!!! "Hey Go Figure" that and get your facts right before suggesting Budgie copied it.

  • @maeldune1957 i know these facts that you so rightfully point out ,but i wrote it tongue in cheek to emphasise how underated and ripped off budgie were!!!!

  • The guitarist reminds me of Peter Pettigrew and the bassist reminds me of Geddy Lee.

And that's just one of the reasons why Budgie will live on for another 40 years.

  • Anything goes when playing live!Craig should lay off the sfx box and show what he really can play clean.but i would agree!!

  • @socirb ..... Budgie actually wrote Breadfan you fool. The track was on their 1973 album "Never Turn Your Back On A Friend" and Metallica covered it in 1988 !!!! Hey Go Figure that and get your facts right before suggesting Budgie covered it.

  • Burke Shelley, he's great, i think he wrote about two thirds of th songs, --

  • Sorry, but the guitarist ruens it for me. Tell him to listen to the original, with Tony, it's not a show off riff!!

  • klasyka.

  • I'm a budgie fan, got all albums apart from DUFE & YALICL, I say that a raging metal guitar like Craig's is not the problem with Budgie, I say that it's Mr Shelley's vocals that chiefly fail in live context, I noticed that on many bootlegs, though it's my simple man's opinion. However, the vocals are pure gold on albums, point. And then, I find the guitar very loud on this raw mix, but what the f...

  • The bassist looks young like he did in the 70s.

  • Oni jeszcze grają? Ja pierdziele!!!! Zajebioza!!1

  • Craig Goldy is far to metal for Budgie. Great Budgie tunes are groove based with more to do with hard boogie rock like Humble Pie or Blue Cheer. He just doesn't have the right feel. Kim Thayil from Soundgarden would be someone who could do this band justice. Like that would ever happen...

  • This ain't Budgie guys...

  • @veykomoscow yes, they are. guitarist changed, and i do not know anything about drummer, but bassist ain't changed.

  • @veykomoscow yeah it's Burke Shelley on bass and vocals as always, Steve Williams is on drums who played on the Bandolier album and on. The guitarist is Craig Goldy of Dio

  • @veykomoscow to me this isn't budgie neither, sorry to say though

  • Rad!

  • Didn't know they were still above ground. Really inspirational to Mettalica and others but hardly knnown here in the states. Good shows.
